I see they are having it in Washington State at a 3 million $ Billiard and sports bar called the Parlor Billiard & Sports bar. I hope it goes off w/o any problems for them. If it goes well maybe the WPBA will start thinking about putting a few more main tour dates in upscale sports bars like that. I know they need sponsor too, but it would be nice for the players and fans to have more than six tour dates a year. Johnnyt

The Parlor is in bellevue, across the lake from seattle. It is a very nice place but not a players room obviously.

I hope some of the Ladies get out and about to the pool rooms when in town.

Johnny, the tournament in WA is the Regional Tour Championships. They take a certain number of the non-pros from the regional tours around North America and the winner of the big tournament gets a spot in everything WPBA event. I'm not sure how many pros will be there. I'm not sure of the closest pros to that venue would be. The place looks like a very nice place and I hope it goes well.

Yes Sarah I know what it is. I just think since the WPBA seems to be having problems with geting casinos for venues that nice big sports bars would be easier to get into. Johnnyt

Yes, it's an awesome place. And it is finally in our back yard instead of having to fly to FL. I won the first NWPA stop there. I am looking forward to seeing all the great players from around the country again at the Regional Tour Championships.

Wow!! Just clicked on the link and that place looks incredible! I can't wait! I've already booked my flight and was looking forward to the trip because I've never been up to the NorthWest before, but I'm afraid I might not ever want to leave this beautiful poolroom while there! Now just to figure out what the weather will be like in February for someone from Texas. Should I buy a coat?

Anyone know what kind of tables those are? I'm sure the WPBA will bring their own. Three wouldn't be enough for 64 players anyhow;) . Johnnyt

That is an awesome room! Too bad the economy can't support something that nice down here in FL!

Sorry Johnny, I wasn't doubting you. It seems like a great place that could hold a big tournament. Who knows, maybe we will have two tournaments in the Northwest.

Gold Crown 4's...

I would like to ad the place is really somthing, Bellvue is a top shelf area, and the Parlor fits right in. Its in a shopping plaza, with a movie theater, and a bowling alley, that you rent your own 2 lanes with leather couches.

I was having the whats wrong with pool argument with a buddy. I was trying to make the point, what parent wants their kid hangen out at the pool hall. Hes got something to say, so I say "If all the pool halls were like the Parlor" thats about all I got out befor he was saying yes yes yes..It just happens to be one of his favorite places to play....
