Now that things are running smoothly at the studio (they fixed the streaming platform and I got the faulty a/v equipment replaced), I've finally had time to start working towards increasing production quality.

One of the three main items that we're focusing on this week, is the live stats. This is finally complete. My scoreboard software knows automatically which player is at the table, what ball they're shooting, and because of this, it can assign the outcome of the shot to a game history for that player or team. It then extrapolates this data into usable statistics, which are then injected into my live graphics software, as well as uploaded to the website.

From now on, all streams will have these stats built in, including fold out team and player comparisons (shown below), team and player bios, team and player rankings (overall and divisional), etc. I will be unrolling this for this Thursdays free live stream.

Sorry for the delays in getting this ready, but now that's it's finished, it will maintain itself automatically for the duration of the season, so we will always have live stats for every game. :)

On the schedule page next to "Watch Live", you should have a matchups popup link that shows how the teams matchup against each other, much like you show in the middle picture.
 
Is there an explanation somewhere of what the numbers mean? What are assists? Where does the overall rating come from? Are these stats from individual play or team/doubles play as well?

It's being programmed as we speak. You get a $60k salary cap to build your weekly dream team. Prizes each week, and an all expense paid trip to the finals here in Vegas for the overall season winner!

I'll be adding that once I get some sleep (pulled yet another all nighter)

In short,

- Player Rating is Points + Assists / Games Played. BB is so full of 2 way shots that its impossible to score misses and safes reliably, so we went with an offensive rating system.

- Assists are awarded when a ball is pocketed during doubles and team games. The teammate who shot previous during the same inning gets the point.

- Stats are recorded during all games, but since the software knows whos active at the table, it records them as individuals.

- Game Record (for players) is Wins/SO Wins/Loses

Feature request:
make each column on the site clickable so I can sort the results, i.e. I can click high run and
there's toasti at the top, then darren, etc. And we can see at a glance who's most error prone, best rated, etc.
