I don't think any other groups are playing today (at least not at thye moment), btw- there haven't been any updates, and nobody from another group has been on the TV table all day. They're really shaking up the format this year.

trueblu8, I don't think you can rewind this. I may be wrong but I think it's just a straight live feed.

Thanks for the response. We just got high-speed cable installed, getting rid of our funky Verizon DSL which kept losing power at the most awful moments. Instead of 700 kp speed, we now have 14,000 kp speed. My Internet connection now is smoking!

Don't forget I'm an Englishman. However, I did say a few weeks ago that I'd love to see SVB win this. That could really boost the game here, and I think that can only be good for the sport in general.

So......this here Englishman is cheering along with you!:D
 
Don't they have a chart somewhere? I went to the WPC website, and they have a disclaimer:
These scores are ? www.worldpoolchampionship.com and may not be reproduced elsewhere.

They show the scores of the current matches in progress and last matches that just ended.

It would be nice to see a more GLOBAL view of the whole tournament, you know, like who's on first, who's on second! :D

Right now, American Charlie Williams is playing.

Americans Putnam, Schmidt, and Frank pulled out of the event, leaving the Americans 11 shots at the title.

Alcano will be tough to beat, whoever faces him. I'm sure the whole crowd is pulling for him. There is something to be said about positive energy.

If nothing is being reported here on AzBilliards LIVE, I'm heading on over to the WPC forum. It's definitely a pro Filipino atmosphere. However, every poster I have ever encountered on that forum has been genuinely pleasant, welcoming, and just plain nice. I don't think the Filipinos know what a flame thread is! :o :p :D

Man, I hate this. After the excruciating download, I then have to "join" the website to see it. So I joined, entered my user name/password/e-mail, and now where do I go to click the link to watch the thing, dag nab it? :confused:
