*** Wrap or Wrap Less South West ***

Stop jacking around and ship them to me already. WTF?

:grin-square:

I really like that tulipwood recut, I think the grain work is gorgeous and really pops.

Both are beautiful. I think the wrapless looks better but if I was actually going to play with it I'd want a wrap...I like linen wraps for actual playing cues.

Wrapless

WOW, you are the man Greg
Wrapless Southwest with a Ebony nose all day long.
And the other one is OK too.

Both Cues are nice but the wrapless is choice No.1
Greg you are the expert:
How thick is a normal SW Butt and how much the slim one?
Thanks,
Ralf

Wrap Or Wrap Less SW

Thanks for the nice compliments!

I think slightly more for the Wrap Less, but not sure if it was the Ebony that swayed the decision.
If the woods were reversed, I think the Wrapped cue would win.

Ralf - I took some measurements in mm & 1000'ths

Slim Handle Wrap - 26.6 mm top of grip - 29.6 at bottom of grip
In 1000'ths - 1.0480 1.1685

Regular Handle with Wrap - 26.9 mm at top of grip - 30.85 at bottom of grip
In 1000'ths - 1.0585 1.2125

Hi Greg,
Thanks, much much appreciated:thumbup:
If you have time;)
What is the Diameter on the buttcap on both?
Ralf:D

I like small.

They are probably standard and undersized .03 at the back. No sense scratching the finish to get all exact!
For a player that recut thing has to hit especially solid. Tulipwood and Purple heart? Regal colors,
Nick :)
