I am a Cortland Linen fan.......if the wrap isn't Cortland, then I'd go with an old
Cuttyhunk linen fishing line brand if I liked the color otherwise it's strictly leather.
Blue Mountain made a nice linen wrap but went out of business and Cortland's
linen fishing line stopped being produced many decades ago.

There is a reason why you pay so much for a Cortland linen wrap and so little for
all the other linen wraps. I just don't care for the current availability of linen wraps
and so I'd rather put a nice leather wrap on a cue that feels great. Kangaroo is the
best feeling leather wrap I ever tried and it's on my buddy's cue.....it feels great.

yea the reason is its rare....and no longer being made.....has nothing to do with that its that much better.....demand and availability....and I for one if i did have a supply would refuse to install it on anything but an original classic by the legends.....no questions asked....should be reserved for those cues imop

I know somewhere on here it's probably been asked before, I would like some opinions on wrap or no wrap on a cue I seem to like Irish linen thanks.

Wrapless for me.
I don't like how slippery linen and leather wrapped cues are.
Used to play Irish linen and leather, now all my play cues are wrapless.
Once you go wrapless you'll never go back....lol

I go wrapless or leather wrap. Nothing against anyone who uses linen, but it's just not for me.

Currently using a wrapless QB(great cues btw) with a Adam 3-cushion rubber slip-on grip. If you've never tried one you need to. It lets you hold the cue very lightly due to the slightly tacky feel. Around 8bux on Ebay.

No wrap

I prefer no wrap and do not find the linen wrap to be good looking when compared to good looking wood, but have seen some elephant wraps I like.

Sticky cues because of hot and humid weather are rarely an issue for me in Alaska.
If I was playing in those kind of conditions on a regular basis I might look at a black or other dark linen wrap.

As we all know, what feels or looks good to us is decided by our individual nature.
