I am not a poker player, and only occassionally watch it on TV, but doesnt our own Jay Halfert play in this every year?

Any other pool players playing in it?

What about that goof David Viffer Peat?

.....somewhat unrelated, WTH happened to Fatboy?

Ken

Jay has cashed for almost $118,000 so far.
...that is gross, no idea what the net is.

...only a couple Gs lately....they been runnin' up dukes on him.

I've only played the Main event twice and made it to the second day both times. You need to get through day three to cash.

I do have four final tables at the WSOP (5th, 6th, 7th and 10th). I usually play four to five of the preliminary events each year and if I make a score then I play the Main event. I started playing WSOP events in 2003 and have gone maybe in eight or nine of the last thirteen years. This year was my worst year ever, only cashing once in six events. Took a couple of horrible beats close to the money in two other tourneys (A,K vs. A,Q and K,K vs 9,9). That's poker.

I didn't play this year, but the two prior years (2014 and 2015) I played in several WSOP events out there (not the main yet). So far I have cashes in 2 out of 5 tournaments played while making day 2 of the 3 tournaments I didn't cash in (about 20 away from the money in each)...decent start but makes me hungry to do better.

I've played a few events and cashed in all of them......that is, lost cash in all of them. :frown:

lol, nothing wrong with taking a shot at them! It's what I did, flew out there solo both years! Hopefully the next time I can fly out with a couple of buddies as I am sure it would be a lot more fun that way, plus +EV for actual continual poker talk to keep us sharp on hands/strat etc.

Ken,

Pretty sure I asked the same question about Eric earlier this year. Didn't get a single reply. Sure miss him and his posts.
