WTB 10' antique Brunswick table - Kling, Arcade, Anniversary

Hi all,

I'm interested in buying a 10' antique Brunswick. I'm interested in a pool table, but don't mind if it's a snooker table. The models that I most desire are the Kling and Arcade. I also like the Regina, Regent, and Anniversary. I'm looking for a table that has NOT been restored; I'm not trying to pay over 10k for a table.

I was would like to know the market value for an unrestored 10' snooker Kling, Arcade, and Anniversary. I've seen some online (eBay & craigslist) but they seem overpriced for the market, even if it's listed below it's appraised value. I'm located in Houston, but willing to travel. I appreciate any info or leads.

Thanks,
JC

Thanks.

Anyone have any info on the market value of a 5x10 Kling, Arcade, or Anniversary in good condition? And, how much would a snooker table compare to a pool table of those types?

I have two 6 leg Regina 5X10 foot tables with three sets of Rails. A set of 3C Billiards rails, a set of Snooker rails, and a set of rails converted to Regular Pool. I would be only interested in selling both tables as a set. Mitch

Wow! Three sets of rails! That would be a dream, but I'm only interested in having a single table for my residence.

Check "flea-bay"

There is a nice looking 1917 Arcade on ebay right now for $8500. Good luck with your search.

Yeah, I saw that one. The price was recently lowered from 10K after no one bid on it. I was wondering if $8500 was a typical price for a table of that sort or would someone (I) be paying too much at that price? I've seen people say in other posts and other websites that even $6000 is still over market value, especially for a snooker table. So, what is the market value for a good 5x10 Kling or Arcade snooker table?

Expect to pay $5K or more if you get one for less you did good. In my own encounters with these tables they are always in the nicest homes in the area and the owners know what they have and would rather give them away to a friend then let someone get it for less than it's worth.

this has been for sale for awhile. I guess it's an anniversary even though it has centennial legs.

Yeahhhhh, I think I'm going to shy away from the hybrid Cent-iversary table. I'm not sure why it's like that, but I'm not a fan of the centennial anyway. I very much appreciate you posting the ad, though.

You should be able to buy a Kling or Arcade 5x10 for less than half a 9 footer.
May take a while to find one , but they are out there.
I would say 2500. up for an Arcade and double that for a Kling 5 x 10.
Research them before buying as some of them look a lot alike.
Also a lot of 5x10 were cut down to make 4.5 x 9s .
It was not as simple as just hacking off the unwanted slate.
Before Earl played Shane you could hardly give a 5 x 10 away.
If you are thinking of buying a snooker table and making it into a pool table I would talk to kingcobra first.
In fact you should post this in the mechanics section , one of them may have a lead for a porkchop.

Thanks to all of those who have responded and sent messages. I'm laying off of my search for a Kling for now as I've decided to go with a much more affordable non-antique table. One day in the future, though, a Kling will be mine. Oh yes... one will be mine.

Thanks everyone.
