Anyone know of a great cue maker who can make this cue?

I am looking for a 60” cue. 30” butt & 30” shaft. I shoot with only low deflection shafts. Either a Predator 314-2 or OB classic. I have not totally made up my mind 100% on which one, still need to check out the OB in my hands. I want the cue to weight between 19 oz to 20.5 oz. I want the weight to slightly butt heavy. I also want a leather wrap. I also saw great things about the G10 pin. I would like the cue to have that pin.

It needs to be an AMAZING playing cue first of all. I don’t want just a plane Jane cue; however I don’t need exotic woods either. I should be something nice to look at. As for the leather wrap I would expect nothing but excellent work that I would not need to worry about the wrap falling apart and the seams to be nothing less than near perfect. I am looking for someone who just loves to make cues.

I am willing to wait 6 months maybe a little more for this to be made. My budget is around $1K. I am looking for a cue that I will fall in love with. If there are any cue makers interested please send me a PM. I would prefer to see any photos of their work, specifically cues with the leather wraps where I can see where the seam meets up.

If anyone has great things to say about a certain cue maker/artist please feel free to share why you love their work.

There is a 60 inch josey for sale on here. Should fit the bill but I'm not sure on it having a g10 pin. Just search for josey it will come up.

I have way over 1000 hours of play on a lizard skin wrap, real lizard. I set it next to a brand new cue from the same maker and my wrap was barely noticeable which wrap was used. It was slightly dull it wasn't as shiny, it was so close that some one might not notice. I was amazed I didn't expect that wrap to hold up at all when I started playing with that cue.

contact DrOnePocket about getting a custom Thomas cue made for you. He can get you a really nice cue made to your specs with a custom LD shaft as well!

100 yr. old Butterfly 60"

I can get pictures tommarro, and some measurements, if interested. I had it made and just hung it in the rack in the billiard room. I'd take $350. shipped. Jim

Keep the PMs coming.
I am really interested in the ld shafts & leather wrap. A 60" cue by it's self is not enough or worth my time unless it is under $100.00
This has to be a requirement.

I will clearify.
The must have on this cue is a low deflection shaft and leather wrap.
I started the initial thread looking for some of the AZ cue makers and who out there has had good experience with whatp people.
To me... if it does not have the min low deflection shaft and leather wrap the vale is just not there. Again, this is just my preference. I am sure there are other 60" cues out there that have a value much higher, but again, that is not what I am looking for.

I might have to take my post to the cue makers? I was hoping for more of an unbiased opinion.

Contact AZ Member Hangemhigh Tommy, he used to work in Bill McDaniel's cue shop before Bill retired.
He now has his own shop and makes some real fine cues. i believe his cues go by the name of Cash Cues "$"

i am going to have him build me a longer cue as soon as i get the funds for it.

Good Luck
Steve
