I am looking for a Southwest
Must be under 19oz (naturally balanced)
Must have 2 straight original shafts
Near mint or better with no damage a refinish wouldn't fix.
Pau Ferro or Ganco Alves forearm
Prefer a Franklin Era

Please Pm me pics and info

South West

I have a SW brand new that is under 19 oz, very hard to find! It is not your wood selection though, Fiddleback Curly Maple & Purple Heart.
I will search around for you, but your best bet is to get your woods, and sacrifice weight, you will get use to the SW balance quickly.
Good luck with it, and Happy Holidays!

Sent you a PM, I have one with Pau Ferro forearm that is 18.8oz.

Not Franklin era though

I hope you find the right cue.

I am no expert on Southwest cues but IMO, you have tough challenge there as most of the Southwest cues I have had, Franklin and current ones, always tended to be on the heavy side.

My ebony Franklin Southwest pushes the scale to almost 21 oz, if I remember right.

I wonder if SW maybe doesn't/didn't core their ebony arms? I know in the "old days" some cue makers would make the arms smaller in diameter in an effort to keep the weight down.

Not sure if he has a light SW, but, Don Sureman had several SW at the DCC this year. At least two were Franklin and in excellent condition. Give him a try.

There is exactly one the board 19oz or under, not a Franklin and if the firm price of that NEW cue is 600-850 more than what one should expect to pay for used I guess add used to my criteria, but thanks for the helpful suggestion Kenny because I never woul have thought of that.

Also,,,go to open Billiards Market on facebook,,if you have facebook there are more there for sale also,

Hey JackA$$
You have 2 that you said would be ready in a month. As in you don't have them now, no pics and I need a cue now. So you find it odd that I didn't buy your cues? go away- thanks for the bump though
