Why not PM Rangercap? or Jack Justis? or Jim Murnak? I'm sure they'll make whatever you want.

I don't know of Rangercap's cases, but I have had Justis and Murnak (still use Murnak). Both great people to work with and great products for the money. Murnak is exceptionally reasonable, IMHO.

Hey, don't knock the porper :D

Here are some photos, I nicked from Chris Tate's website. I have one of these rare case, unfortunately not for sale .... yet

http://palmercollector.com/Porper.html

In the early 1980's Joe Porper's Creative Inventions launched a line of cases that dominated the market. The case had a molded foam core. It was lightweight, economical, and could be produced in production line quantity.

In the late 1980's to mid 1990's, Joe Porper also made one of the finest hand tooled leather cases available. It had a foam core encased by heavy tooling leather with elegant leaf carvings. Despite the thick leather and large pockets, it weighed only 3 pounds, about half the weight of a comparable tube and leather case. Each was unique. In six years only 200 of these hand tooled leather cases were made. Joe eventually discontinued the tooled cases to focus on his production line.

No disrespect for the Porper, Ive had tons of them, but not like that one. I was bidding on one from ebay last year, one of these same ones, very nice. The Hager case looks very unique indeed. I had a dark blue one when the company had just started and it was one of their prototypes. instead of having the pocket on the outside, the case came with 3 seperate small bag and manbag type carriers for chalks and accessories. It was made with a lot of fiberglass and some aluminum. Is this one for sale?? Thanks, Deacon also what is the material on the body and ends. how heavy is the case? Deacon
