WTB- USED Kamui chalk

chaulk

Technically, I've heard Kamui chalk is half the size of a normal piece so I guess he'll be getting 1\4 or less of a piece. This is like a seen from New Jack City were Chris Rock says"C'mon man just give me a peice,I'll even s--k y--r --ck''but in the movie they were talking about crack and we all know ,this chalk is much more pricier than crack.:)I live in Canada to and could of got some of this stuff already but passed on it but if I run into any,I'll send you a piece for free.I've got a couple guys in my area that want to try it so I think I'll get some in.I'll let you know.Goodluck

the kamui chaulk is about7/8 to 3/4 the size of normal cube of chaulk.
and it is like clay or lip stick. gose on like lip stick
now we need to start a pool to see how many guys are going to try lip stick
on their tip.
or you can buy a cube and give it to one of your x wifes as lip stick just to get a good laugh. i know im bad. i tried to be nice one time, it was the worst 10 seconds of my life:killingme:

im still trying to break the habit of chaulking up between shots.

merry christmas
mike

$28 a cube! Alrighty then! Hey, more power to them as some guys swear by it. If chalk can sell for $28 a cube, I wonder what a good stroke is worth these days?

Good luck in your search and have a Merry Christmas!

let me know if you find one man
that would be really nice of you

People have no problem spending $40-$50 installed for a tip that will make you play better(ha),or 200-300 on a shaft that spliced and cored and filled with foam or other material.Whats the deal with $28 for insurance against a miscue?I'll be real suprised if I dont get 6 months out of my cube of kamui. Its pricey,as well as everything that is good in life and Im sure its not for everyone. Personally, other being made in china,I can't see one reason how it will negativly affect your game.

Now we need a chalk-free tip that never miscues or wears out...what would ya pay for that??

I'd offer it up but I still use it at home. Works great!

Actually it's made in Japan

I also like it and some of the people who have tried mine asked me to order them a piece and 1 guy didn't even flinch at the price, so people must like something about it...lol

you can get Masters for like .50 cents , it shouldn't be more than 5.00 a cube my opinion

50cents ? the pool hall here sells it for .25 or 5 for a dollar.

i dont think kamuii has gone up here yet, i paid 25.00 for it last month.

i play league 4 nights a week and still chalk after every shot in a match. i practiced some at the house and played 5 racks without chalking, never miscued.

i dont know how many shots you can make without chalking before you will miscue but i have always chalked after every shot as part of my routine and am not changing just because the chalk lasts longer.

considering the small amount of wear after 5 weeks i believe the chalk will last at least 8 months before i have to buy a new one.

i have yet to see 1 bad review from any one who has tried it, so i dont know why so many people are unwilling to pay for it but readily go out and pay 25.00 to 30.00 for the next best tip to come along or 300.00 low deflection shafts.

i hear all the time that a 30.00 moori is so much better than a 5.00 elkmaster or a 300.00 laminated ld shaft is so much better than a 100.00 production shaft but they dont think a 25.00 cube of chalk could be better than masters. whats the difference ?

New or used? :joyful:

You don't need a $2000 stick to play great pool,or a triple pressed 20 layer tip that only uses the finest imported pig skin taken from the "secret spot",nor a $30 piece of chalk. But mentally,if it give you confidence and your game improves,Do it!

Locally competion is strong, and any little advantage I get really helps my win percentage.Even if it is only a piece of chalk, that eliminates my fear of a miscue when the cueball is right against the rail and you have 8 feet to the object ball and another 9 feet to get position afterwards....a little better english transfer means you can cue closer to center.

Merry Christmas & hope Santa has some Kamui chalk in his bag for the unfortunate.

Just wait

27.95 a cube on sale plus shipping...I'm speechless

When "I phones" first came out they were $500, now the latest and greatest version go for $200. I would think that somewhere along the price will come down. Maybe because of competition, maybe because they will realize they will make more profit by lowering the price and increasing their volume. Just imagine if the price gets down to where pool rooms buy them by the box!

No comparison to regular chalk, and it shouldn't be used nearly as frequent. My local poolroom is BYOC or shut up and use the shi**y green masters!

I'm just waiting to see someone cut them in half and then sell them for half price to make them reasonable. Interesting to know there's a thread stating that you use this chalk before you play a game, and then use Master chalk during game which is extending the life of the chalk and with similar response.

Put me on the list for used ones, or any similar alternatives! Til then I'm happy playing with blue diamond thats not retardedly priced.

That's an interesting photo. How long did it take you to get down to that? I've been quite concerned the chalk would be unusable when it got down past halfway, say, as the walls look a little thin and look like they'll collapse - I take it that's not the case?

For everyone who is complaining about the price, I have spoken with a researcher who helped developed the chalk and the production cost is very high, so high that they spent a long time looking for a cheaper alternative because they didn't think anyone would pay $20+ for chalk.
Unable to find a better alternative they went ahead and marketed it anyway, hoping to find a niche market. Trust me, if they could have made it cheaper they would have.
Personally, I don't mind the chalk but don't think it's worth $25 bucks. But, enough with the flaming... if you don't like it, don't buy it and leave it at that.
