I'm looking for some yellow micarta ferrules like Knifemaker was selling on here last year.

If your looking for yellow colored Micarta ferrules like knife maker was selling I have no idea. If you are looking for the real deal Westinghouse yellow Micarta ferrules as was used in the 60's, 70's and 80's contact pdcue on this forum as he has the real McCoy.

The "yellow colored Micarta" ferrules Knifemaker was selling were the "real deal" Westinghouse yellow Micarta. He even showed a picture with a block which still had the "W" sticker of Westinghouse.

You may be,and probably are correct that the material that he is/was selling was Westinghouse Micarta but Westinghouse probably had at least 30 different kinds of Micarta. The stuff that the Knife maker was peddling has a very pronounced weaved base which the original Westinghouse Micarta that everybody seems to want had no weave whats-so-ever.

I know a guy who has a couple of those ferrules left, but he's a jerk and won't sell em;) lol.

I'm wanting the ones Knifemaker had for sale on here couple years ago. I dont want the ones with asbestos.

Ya I know. I have a couple of shafts with knifemakers micarta ferrules and I just love the hit of these ferrules. I want to get some so I would have them.

I have never tried them and they may play great. Truthfully, I don't like the "Yellow asbestos Micarta" ferrules either but many do. I just argue about the material as I feel that as much as the stuff costs, the buyer should get what he wants and not be duped by mis-information that is so prevalent on these forums.

I have a block I bought from knifemaker the first week he sold them and I believe it will make 13 or 14 ferrules so how about a offer by pm.--Leonard
 
Micarta

I have some of the original yellow micarta ferrules if anyone is interested. I have a few I would spare. They are not cheap, PM me if interested.
