WTB: Yellow Micarta Ferrules

Westinghouse made many products for different applications and they were all called Micarta. If you just want the color of the old yellow Micarta both of these or the Mason's Micarta will work. However none of the above are the asbestos type that was popular in the 60's and 70's although it seems others will argue otherwise. The real stuff hasn't been made in many years.

Dale, alias DPQ on these forums has a small supply that was purchased in the 70's of the original yellow Micarta but expect to pay through the nose for it.

Just thought i share

I took my Katana Shaft and replaced the ferrule with Micarta from cue components. I have to say I'm very happy with the hit with my G2 tip.

Looks like a nice job there. May I ask if that is the linen or paper? Looks like the paper but what do I know. :grin-devilish:
