WTF??ebay listing for - keith josey pool cue collection justis 2/4 case custom

Kinda reminds me of the scammer, long before the internet and e bay, placed adverts about "hair loss" in newspapers and magazines along the lines of....

... "Going bald? Thinning on top? Losing your hair? Send me $20 and I will send you something guaranteed to keep it in" ....

All applicants duly received a nice empty cardboard box with a printed guarantee that your falling hair could be kept in it :)

there was another product guaranteed to kill any insect. It consisted of two blocks of wood and instructions to "place insect here".

This just goes along the lines of morons selling XBOX 360 empty boxes and getting bids like like they were thinking they were getting the console to.

Hey I got some GREAT PIX of my two Josey, (just check out my Avatar). Let the bidding begin and I accept paypal.

The "hi, I am selling these pictures of XXXX" scam is common on ebay, it actually came up on a episode of one of those small claim court TV shows and the scammer, some goofy fat chick who kept claiming "look, the ad clearly stated it was just selling the pictures" got owned, lost the case and looked like a no-life tool on national TV.

heh, look what I found. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xinOmDlEoc

Apparently, according to this totally unreliable source, he plays a little golf ... perhaps to blow off some steam.

There was an eBay auction a couple of years ago, much talked about on this forum IIRC, that said, "I am selling the cue pic below". The starting bid was something like $1,200.00, and the cue in the picture was a nice custom cue easily worth that much. Many people bid on the auction, thinking that the seller of course meant that he was selling the cue pictured below.

Someone won the auction, paid, and received a picture of the cue.

If you happen to have that somewhere back in your subscribed threads or can find it through a search, please post a link to that old thread. I'd like to see that. Hope the seller got banned.
