Your the ball that's closest to the red

How do you score the point

OK, I'll admit I'm a bit stumped.

I'd kick to the left side rail, straight away from the red. My hope would be to catch the red on the other side of it, then rebound one rail towards the white. If I'm lucky I'll catch a rail on either side of it.

The pros of this shot are that the angle to kick to the red is pretty easy to calculate, I feel I can get the cue ball going the right direction much of the time. I can shoot the shot softly, with no english, no elevation, nothing fancy.

Compared to the masses and multirail kick shot alternatives I like my shot. I'm assuming we can't do any type of reverse four railer.

Thoughts?

Yours is possible, but like any in this position, not easy

If you got a dead straight stroke,

Shoot away from the red, short rail, into the red, less than half ball hit, and hope it catches the corner and score
No English, dead ball hit

But that's not a shot for us mortals, your first s is more makeable at this point

Hard to see how thick you can hit the red, but I would go off the left side of the red with low left. Goes to the left rail, straight across the table to the right rail and still has enough spin to go to the end rail before the white.

Can you get to the corner, the left rail in the picture... Without touching he red? If so I think I like to go with a lot of high rightt rail first into the other cue ball... Then back to that side rail with a lot of Right spin, goes into the Natural Four trailer to the other Corner, hopefully catching the red. Tough spot

Come off the right side of the red. Longrail,endrail,longrail,longrail,longrail,endrail. A little long or short,you still can score?

Assuming it lays for it, its the best shot. Glad you are having success on first attempts.

If you can hit far enough down the long left rail...
...then try hitting around one diamond from the corner with left english....
...contact the other white less than half-ball...your cue-ball then catches two rails
out of the corner for the carom.
