You've got solids....your at the table.
5 is straight in, even might have to swerve whitey a little for that make.

Bank the 2 straight back between the 4 and 14, draw back 18" for the 6, run out.

pj <- easy peasy

LOL, I had typed "make the 7, draw it back for perfect position on the 6, draw it back a foot for the 2 in the near corner (ala Chris Melling) and run out from there" but was trying not to be a smart ass but, since you started it :)

In reality, I'd either pocket the 7 and try to draw straight back between the 2 and 9 and hope for some luck, or make 7, then 1 in side, and slide down for a breakout OR 7, 1, the slide down for better angle on 2 to play safe by putting the coming of the left edge (right in the picture) of the two soft trying to block the 9 and 12 while leaving a bit of an angle on the 14 so it can't go in the corner. They might have a bank in the bottom left with the 15 but they'd have to earn it.

Either way, I'd probably lose if tried any of the above so you better listen to someone else :)

The lime green ball is obviously your problem ball, if you are looking to run out. Looks like you could sharp cut the 2 ball right now and rearrange the striped balls near the bottom rail, but there’s no telling what you might leave yourself.

You could also possibly play the other green ball that is virtually straight in the corner and if you can control your draw well enough, you could fall perfect on the lime green ball. If not, you still have the 3 ball as a back up shot.

Some here might suggest playing the orange ball straight in the corner, and then playing the three ball combination which appears almost straight on, but is still an incredibly difficult shot and not one I would not choose to play.

Those are basically the three options I’m looking at to start with. Beyond that, I would just have to see how the balls are lying, but clearly the lime green ball is the biggest issue.

I really have no idea what I would attempt not being able to see the entire layout of the table. Only thing I can say with some certainty is I probably would not execute the runout in the same fashion as Skyler Woodward.

Shoot a stop shot on the 7 straight in the corner. Shoot a stop shot on the 1 in the side. Shoot the 5 in the corner with low left to run into the 10 ball. Work things out from there, depending on how you fall on the 6 or 2.

If the idea is to get out I usually attack the issues. No pain no gain. For instance, draw from the 7 for the 2. The 9 should keep you honest over the range of that shot including a trilliard on the 2 for the optimum angle to the 6. From there it's all ducks.

For me everything depends on where the 9 goes if you shoot the 2 now. I think cueball comes back and gives a shot on the lime trouble ball to the corner. If that is the case seems simple.

I still think the 2 ball is the problem ball for a run out. If I can’t shoot the 2 first, or get position to shoot it with my second shot, I’m gonna start bunting balls around and play a defensive game. The three open balls up table give some nice options, once the 2 is gone.

I don't see myself running this rack. I guess Patrick's is the best pattern but it would be a low percentage for me to bank the 2 and draw to the very small position window for the 6. We should look this match up and see how it was played.

I looked this up. Sky shot the 3,2,5 left himself hooked on the 6 &7 and made 2 jumps and a carom to finish the rack.

This is probably how I would play it. I like taking the 3 after the 1 but it's maybe better to have an open ball there as insurance in case the shot on the 5 doesn't work out.

Actually I like 7, 1, 3, 5, lime green up into the far left corner, 2, 8 but I'm going to mess up the transition from the 5 to the dill pickle almost every time.

To be fair to all of us, it seems even Skyler didn't know what to do and had to pull out a couple of jump shots.
