I'd jump it, but with that said...:

The aim/pot on the 4 is easy enough, but the trick here is keeping the CB on the table. The landing zone is shorter than the jump itself, and there isn't a lot of room for the CB to lose it's energy. In a perfect world you want to land the CB on the 4. Otherwise, you have a good chance of the CB bouncing off the table as well. On top of that you really should be hitting the jump with top not draw. That makes it even more improtant to land the CB on the 4. You can hit it with draw, but you need enough action to pull it back far enough to make the 6 shot makeable in the same corner. Otherwise, you're playing a bank on the 6 and may as well just play the kick safe from the start.

This is a great example of where some will say jumping ruins the game, but there's more going on here then just getting over the ball.

Looks to me like there is a slight cut on the 4 with
the jump. A stop or slight draw would be perfect.
Far easier than a kick safe for me.

Interesting... The cut is very tiny and actually unnecessary. In fact you'd be working the pocket to generate that cutting angle. Where would you expect to have the CB finish with a stop shot to slgiht draw. I would be concerned about being to far below the 6 to pot it in the same corner.

I guess most would jump here, but I can't do that, so I would have to kick at it.

But In reality, I prefer a game that allows you to shoot any ball you want. Like bank pool.

5 is gone already.

What is the easy kick safe?
Don't know about best option. I'd roll right about where the picture cuts off the bottom rail (guessing that's the bottom) with max running english. Ball floats into the 4 and continues to the side rail and on up table some. If you miss it's usually thick which in this case can safe the 4 but basically I'm just trying to make the 4.

if you want to play defense then kick and try to use the 6 as the blocker. If the speed is off, you just sold out. If you are a good jumper, then this is fairly straight and has a higher make rate then the kick. If you can stop the cue ball right there after the jump, it is an easy out.

I always felt more comfortable kicking since that's what I practiced more. Never liked having the ball leave the table for any reason personally.

I would choose one of these masse?, massey?, massea?, massy?, masay? or how ever you spell it. You know, one of those crazy spinney shots. :)
