X-breaker update !! Please read..

Thanks wpjr and you missed at the cue tonight and you missed a five ball run by Eddie L for 6300, he got a shot on the 5 but it was a backcut only with a easy scratch and powered it up to much for those tight pockets.

WOW OK let me reword my post here.

I hope the serious health issues go away and his time in the hospital is minimal. I look forward to dealing with Richard again in the future.

Is that better everyone? jesus christ

no the way you used the rolling eyes icon after Jesus Christ's name is implying the vision of jesus christ dying because it's known when you die your eyes roll back into your head. Shame on you! :D

Sorry to hear about Richard's health problems. I've been there and it's not fun when your health starts to go....

So, did anyone actually receive a refund?

No, not that I know of. None have been reported here. I'm tired of all the, "Saint Richard is sick" comments. Richard has been avoiding all his customers that have deposits down for weeks (if not months). The latest incarnation said to pursue a refund through PayPal. PayPal has a 45 day limit in which to submit a claim. My deposit has been in over 75 days! I have written, called, and emailed Richard oodles of times for weeks, and never have I had a response. When I saw this latest development I immediately emailed him again, to no avail.

My FINAL comment is, I hope Richard is not sick, which I doubt he is, but I know that he's a crook. There I said it, now take it or leave it...Tom

Richard

Richard I hope everything works out for the best for you and your family. For all the people out money or cues I hope Richard does the right thing as soon as he can. I have said it before that I met Richard a few times and he seemed to me to be a very good and trusting person. I had one small business dealing with him and he was the one to extend the trust in me so I still feel Richard will do the right thing when he can.

It's true it's easy to be suspicious and it's true it's easy to think of ways that how he could have handled things much much better.

But, what if he really has been so sick, fighting for his live, that internet, cues and money (even owned) has been completely irrelevant to him? What if he has been in so bad shape, that he really hasn't been able to do any kind of actions, even been able to plan much in his head?

If you face an illness which may kill you and which takes away all your energy, there's only one thing where you will (can) put your attention. That is to survive.

If you have a yacht which you rent for business, you're a captain in it and also responsible for the catering, and you get a hit from a rock which makes a hole to the bottom and a leak in it, you put all your attention on saving the boat and the lives. You forget the champagne serving for a while. Also the caviar.

Ok. I know I have tendency to being naive, and it's true you might be right, but I've met Richard, made deals with him, and he has been very trustable before..

lol...People are seeing him in public man, and he is NOT being decent enough to return our emails after WEEKS of sending them ! Wake up...Tom

So, did anyone get a refund on payments, deposit, or a return of cues which were sent in for service?

oh...ok...I never heard anyone had seen him during this period...

so, did people get their refunds? i guess they did, as there hasn't been more bashing, but what would i know... :p

I don't know if I think Richard is a bad guy. If he was a real crook i think he would have taken the money i offerd for an xbreaker b/j cue in may. He would have been more active in soliciting money prior to his exit stage left.

This to me sounds like maybe there was a crisis in his life that required he no longer work and have to take care of something very important. A sick family member comes to mind. A crisis that would have required him to stop working would have also required all of his funds I am sure. I feel bad for the customers that had deposits down. There is nothing that can be said that can make you feel better about this so any venting you do is very understandable.

Maybe if you view it less in terms that he ripped you off and more in terms that he used the money for something like to help a sick daughter would help. Your belief is your reality, and I guess all I am saying is that you can choose to think of this in terms of being taken advantage of, or you can reframe it in your mind that you helped out a member of this board in his time of need.

Time may prove that he is a good guy or we might learn he turned into a meth head and went crazy. I dunno. I have been trying in the last few months to view the questions I have in ways that help and not hurt, especially when the outcome of what is bothering me cannot be changed.
