The Heart Of Tejas Tour is proud to announce a raffle for a $25,000.00 handcrafted, custom designed "Cedars of Tejas" pool table. The "Cedars of Tejas" table will be appointed with 1-1/4" slate, K-66 cushions, Simonis cloth (Color of your choice), and RC Design pockets. The table was graciously donated by the manufacturer, Texas Mesquite and Cedar Treasures, owned by Benito and Doris Loera. You may view a picture of the table on our website at http://www.heartoftejas.com.

You may request raffle tickets online at http://fs12.formsite.com/ramayes/form421685410/index.html. The ticket prices are 1 for $10; 3 for $20; 10 for $50 or 25 for $100. After you make your request, you will be sent your ticket numbers and a link to pay for them on PayPal with your credit card or by cash. The drawing will be at the HOTT final event on December 10th, 2006. All money raised by the raffle goes to help the Heart Of Tejas Tour.

Colin placed an image of the pool table in his post below. (Thanks Colin) I just added this image and I changed the felt color in PSP7 to give you an idea what the table might look like with green felt and black railcloth. You can select any felt you wish if you are the lucky winner.

Being a Sooner fan that would be a nice coffee table to put my feet up on or a garage door stop but nothing else. Unless of course they offer a Crimson cloth and a big fat OU in the middle of it.

Nice table, assuming the cedar version is really similar.

If they're trying to generate some money, though, the Texas-delivery-only provision would seem to eliminate about 98% of the box office (not counting Alaska and Hawaii). Maybe they will list the estimated shipping and setup for other states?

Changing the felt on the top of this pool table is simple (although the lack of t.u. fans on the AZ forum is expected - GIG 'EM).

I am glad you were able to allow people who will not make a tour stop buy tickets - as we discussed.

I like the extended rails that could serve as shelves to set drinks on. I think if I bought tickets and did have the misfortune of winning I would convert the wood into a bar.

That is some hunk of wood. Not my style.

The problem with winning that table is the taxes due by adding $25,000 to your income. If it puts you into the 20% bracket you would have to pay $5,000 in Fed taxes and then I would have to also pay state and city taxes of 6% that would add another $1,500. So the table would cost me a minimum of $6,500
