This thread absolutely amazes the hell out of me.

I hope everybody opens there box and finds a Schick sneaky or something.

Good to see you are only shooting for a 50% acceptance rate on your product. Maybe TAR should try this.

"We are going to tape a Match. In 2 Months. Won't tell you who is in it, won't tell you what they are gonna play. Send me $100. Don't send it if you are gonna complain if you don't like it. I don't have time for that."

F'n amazing.

Can't wait to see the reaction when the magic sneaky's fail to turn everyone into Efren and people try to unload them.

Predator should hire the this guy for their marketing....they would save a ton on photography and printing. I can see the new slogan now

"Just buy it. But only if you got gamble"

You are by far the best poster here on az IMO. You speak your mind and what you say is 99% right and Rep for you . I just cant believe the BS posted here on az and how another member seems to always back it up with more BS. Hope to see you at the derby.

i have some beach front property in arizona that i need to move, where's the water you ask?,wait it will rain, but don't ask me for your money back, you got all the sand you want!

Red Foreman says>>>>>dumbass
I don't know a thing about these cues, but the guy who is pimping these has been around the custom cue game for longer than most of the folks on this board. I'm not sure about his claims on this cue, but I do know he understands a good player when he hits one. I've long been done with my sneaky quest or I would have probably bit on this. Just my 2 cents.

Mr. Book :)

Are you serious on this one? How can you ask such a question when this guy is selling "virtual cues"?
Hope you guys have a great Happy New Year with no "virtual cues". Man... the posts on this thread amazes me by the minute
Are you guys that believe on this crap for real? Do you still believe in Santa? I guess...

Anyone receive their cue yet? i'd like to know how they like it

Well I did talk to Dean guys and I had to change my mind. No I am not crazy... It was interesting the conversation because the cue technology he is selling or the cue style he is building, I recently played with one and the cue plays off the hook. I was unable to buy this cue because the guy wanted like $1500.00 for it. I understand the technology being used but I am rather curious on getting some feedback from the first buyers.

Was it a Cuetec?

But seriously, what kind of technology?

Yep. Funny post. Can't wait to read the feedback from the first buyers. But Dean is worth a call.

I might PM him or something. I hate calling people when I don't have to. But it sounds interesting. I wish he would have shared a little more on the technology aspect in the post.

hi tony & others on this thread too,

i guess i was curious like you. i read nick's comment and of course trusted nick's comment. i too called dean. i bought the pig-in-a-poke, of course how after speaking to dean could i not. that was the $300 sp. i'm on the waiting list, and know exactly what i am getting. i wanted to pay him, but he - refused and told me to wait and i could change my mind.

further, a few days later, dean had a sw for sale without any pix, just a brief description. i called dean again and committed for the sw, sight unseen, just based on trusting him from our conversation, nick's comments and deans great reputation maybe some are not awear of.

one stipulation was, if i hated the sw, i could 'walk away' and he would not hold me responsible for my commitment. he had no problem with that.

you may already know the result. dean described the sw exactly as mrs. franklin described it to dean.

thanks to dean, i now have a beautiful new sw at a very fair price. i have been playing with it now for about 10 hours, and for sure it is a dream beyond my expectations.

i will post pix tomorrow. its beautiful to look at and more than beautiful to play with.

to others who have not talked to dean, yes, it may be difficult to have such trust, but we can for sure trust nick, and that was enough for me. especially after talking with dean too.

i want to say thank you to mr. wilson for this site. i want t say thank you for all the wonderful people i have met here.

so to all... i want to say thanks!! and...

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!

Concerning this cue,let me get a few things a little more accurate as I am getting confused by some of the responses,

1) this cue is nothing like a cue tech(I don't even know for sure what a cue tech is)

2) The cue is not a sneaky Pete.
3) As I stated in the original post, the cue incorporates features from several cues that I had the opportunity to play over the years
4) These first cues are prototypes. I am seeking feedback from the original buyers. We have the ability to tweak the hit by changing the taper or shaft altogether.

Your response has been phenomonal. I have taken more orders than I initially intended to. I am going to continue for a short while to allow as many as are willing to get in on what to me is an experiment to make the best playing cue I can .

Many people in Dallas have come up to me when they see me playing and complimented the cue. Many have hit some shots and said they like it, and it's what a cue should be. When I agree to let them hit it I ask one favor ..that they will tell me how they like the way it plays. As simple as that question is, there is a certain kind of person that, thinking themselves to be wise in their own eyes, instead of answering the question "How do you like the way it plays" they answer another question without even paying attention to my cue. They answer the question "What do you play with now and what do you think is best?" Invariably these people think they already know without trying or giving anything like a fair chance to anything new, whether that is a cue, an idea or what not. Also, the funny thing is that none of these people play very well, anyway. It seems that the less they know, the more they think they know.

After 50 years of pool and being around many of the best players and cuemakers I have come to believe that most people don't know what they need to play good. They believe myths about the game, the cues and so on. I am not going to discuss technology or give mine away. I don't even claim to scientifically know why this cue plays so good.

I will say one more thing..this is going to be your last chance to find out if it works for you at this price, because once it gets the reputation for playing good, I am not going to make any more cheap cues.

This will probably be your last time to improve your game at a price you can afford. Most of you will want to order a fancy cue that has the same hit, and that is what I'm banking on!

Grab the phone now. Who cares what these know it all pool detectives say? You want to play better so see if it works for you
