Young man with ACTION PAINS heading out West....

WOW, these forums are hilarious! Well the guy was saying that the he'd take all the side bets in the world in that game. That was a common statement you'll hear 10,000 times in a pool room. This thread has gotten side tracked like 10 times! Now this mystic cue kid is talking about the tournament again! The thread talks about how Justin wants action. Not twisting words, people getting all personal, and nothin about the tournament. If you don't want to play him or can't steer him towards some action then be an observer to this thread! Jesus guys lol...
At least there is one intelligent poster, like bigsamho, that understands my words. Please try to keep educating the rest of the comprehension deficit posters. My patience is shot so I gave up.

Just wondering, how would Justin play Antonio? I have a lot of respect for Justin's game and if he is interested in 10k sets with a fair game we would come out there.

After Antonio leaves Vegas he is spending a few days in Cali after that he is available. It doesn't have to be 10k sets anywhere from 3k-20k is fine if the game is right. Long ahead sets with Antonio would do wonders for Justin's seasoning.

Does Antonio have a last name? Sorry to disrespect him but just want to be sure on who you are talking about.

Lining. Sorry I take it for granted there may be other players named Antonio. Are you from the Missouri area? I played a young cuemaker about 6 or 7 years ago out there we played at a place called Sharkey's Granted the tables were loose but the second set he put a seven pack on me. I stayed in Collinsville for about two weeks and after that I flew in a stone cold champion to play all oncomers but the only action he got was a kid that played pro level golf (according to him) and good nineball Jack Hynes played him races to 10 and he quit after the first one. I ended up taking Jack to Indy that weekend to play anyone of the champions there but they were out of town except George Breedlove and he had an elbow injury. I was always curious who the cuemaker from Missou was. If Justin wants to play 9ball, 10 ball, rotation, onepocket or 8 ball let me know any rotation style game we will give something up to make a fair game.

I have no idea who the cuemaker or pro golfer are/were. I think maybe you got lied to. If you were @Sharkeys surely you played Gary somehow. I have never met Antonio Lining but I hope he is a person of a much better class then you are used to hanging around with if you are a friend of Jack Hynes.

LOL, Justin is just a pup with an inflated ego. Justin is the one who needs the 8 spot.

The kid is 5 ft 2 with eyes of blue and doesn't need to shave.

Being a savvy poolshark you know he needs WAAAAAY more than the 8.

Match up and give the kid a fair game!!!!!:D

That's why I also said that I would play Justin if the Spot was right. But if you want to just read the first line that I write by all means I can't stop you. And who are you steering him towards? Or better yet....when are you giong to play him? Let's see. What was it you just said? If you don't want to play him or steer him towards some action then be an observer to this thread. Hmmm, I responded because I respect Justin's game quite a bit. I wanted to throw in wishing him a good luck out of respect for him and his stakehorse. Any other questions anybody has for me don't hesitate to ask.

Never claimed Jack was a friend. Just that we had an arrangement in the early and mid-ninties. I punched him in the eye for dumping me same as a lot of people had to. Antonio is a gentleman and I guarentee he will not make a peep during a set.

Might I ask

Where Justin is coming from on his way to Arizona? That helps a bit if you know the route of travel. He shouldn't have a problem getting matched up in Tulsa or Oklahoma City or Dallas or even here in Wichita.

Well I've already matched up with him in Atlanta and you know you're not going to play him. I was simply saying that that people are taking this thread and twisting it. I just thought I'd post that to get people on the right track. If you had intentions of matching up with him it'd be different but anyone can tell you don't. You've probably never even seen the kid play. I tell you what you can get some action from me! Where can we meet and what can we bet?!

You know I am starting to really think that I am sorry I started this thread in the first place. Justin simply asked me to post to let people know where he will be & if someone would like to play. First, the offers come from the typlical pool player with no money in his pocket. I never make a comment towards someone based on how much money they do or don't have, but in the same respect why comment you want to play if you don't have any. Then ,so far, I have received offers-public & private-for him to go to South Dakota, Atlanta, Ohio, Los Angeles. Ok, I realize that pool players aren't that smart so get out a map or have a friend show you one---TUCSON, ARIZONA. That is where I said Justin was going. He has to be there all week to play in the Jr Nationals. I don't think that he can fit a side trip to Ohio or Atlanta into his traveling to TUCSON ARIZONA. Is anyone comprehending this yet?

Then I get offers for him to play some of the top 30 players in the country with the call 8 ball......and of course these offers don't even include the key to my oriiginal post that Justin will be in TUCSON ARIZONA. Gee thanks. Lining, Harriman, SVB. In fact, in the case of Harriman...it was even 10 ball. Anyone on here like Justin at that game? Aren't these 3 already in the mighty IPT thru those tough qualifiers? Didn't SVB run like 8 racks in a row or something to win? If you think that Justin plays that good at 18 yrs old (no offense Justin) then he is looking for a stakehorse into the IPT qualifiers. He only got to play in one. Hell, maybe the guy that wants him to play Lining would simply like to stake Justin to play Harriman & SVB with the call 8 or even 10 ball? Or I have another idea......get real. There I said it and said it as polite as possible so I don't get barred off this site for foul language.

Oh and then, lastly I have to listen to the moronic railbirds put words in my mouth after they completely fail all aspects of comprehension. At least bigsamho could figure out that saying 'the rail was closed' was simply an expression as to how much I would like that game. I wasn't trying to change the order of the universe & stop IProscoe from getting in his $50 sweat bet.

Justin, good luck in the Jr Nationals that are being held in TUCSON ARIZONA . But be warned, I am going to smack you when I see you next for getting me involved in this moronic post. (Note to IPRoscoe.....that is just a figure of speech, I am not really going to smack a 5' 2" 90 pound young man)

Watchez, this is one of the most amusing and truthful posts I have ever read.

I know Justin's speed and I've seen him play. I will not be in Tucson, but I can tell you that a kid from Dayton, OH named Ryan Stone will be there playing in the tournament. He likes to bet high. If Justin approaches him, they might be able to make a game. I have no idea what Ryan's reaction to matching up with Justin would be, however.

I just got off the phone again with Justin. He can't stand it. He told me that he is going to burn a $20 bill at the top of every hour until someone plays him. Please, someone don't let him do this to his money.

Poor Justin. With the $20 bills he's burning at the top of every hour, hopefully he'll be broke by the time he returns home! :) :p ...and then maybe he'll think about getting different stakehorse.

Oh yeah, I guess that NoBettingAllen (just a tip---you can't give yourself your own nickname, especially if it doesn't fit) is jealous that I didn't also address him so I will do so now. You are another one with a comprehension problem. When did I ever say that I was Justin's stakehorse? Understand this Allen that this kid has something you don't or won't ever have---heart. Most of the time he bets his own. He doesn't have a specific stakehorse & when he has dealt with one it is short lived because he has no problem betting his own. Now I have known him for 7-8 years & never done him wrong so I am fortunate to get a piece of the action when I want. Like I said, if he still want to give him the 8---I'll take all the action and your money.

Interesting and amusing thread... Years ago, a jr. player would be DISQUALIFIED if he/she were caught gambling, even outside the tournament.
Seems like the 'rules' have disappeared. There's certainly nothing wrong with gambling, but imo it has no place at the jr. national tournament. This is supposed to be a championship where kids come to learn respect for the game, their opponents, and themselves. Why is Justin even going? There's zero prize money, and he already has a national title for "prestige" and ego satisfaction. Makes you wonder... Justin is obviously an expert player, and on his way to the pro ranks. I just can't figure out why he'd bother going to Tucson.

Yikes...

Wow...thats all I have to say about some of the direction of this thread.

Hey Justin! Good luck on your trip to Tucson. Its a fun town even if you dont get any pool action. Hope you do well in the trenches. Watch out for those ASU girls. They may want to get you drunk!

Good luck again Justin.

Watchez, you initiated this thread hoping to find some action for Justin. Since you haven't been able to find any, you're now resorting to insulting just about everyone. While I wish Justin well, you're obviously a bad influence on him. By the way, "please don't get your pants all in a bunch again."

I call em as I see em, Allen. If you want to make inane comments like gambling is bad or cannot comprehend what I type than I will try to correct you as I see fit. I see you, Allen, as a jealous old man of the way an 18 year old kid can play. I have no doubt that you couldnt even pick him out in a crowd or have ever even seen him play. I also have no doubt that Justin could give you the 6 ball and that simply irks you. You really know nothing of me either. Just what you think you know. And now you wish Justin luck when earlier today you were wishing he came home busted. Make up your mind.

And to Scott Lee and his poolknowledge website. Your comments are equally as inane. Scott's quote: Why is Justin even going? There's zero prize money, and he already has a national title for "prestige" and ego satisfaction. Makes you wonder... Scott, why before Olympic athletes were paid, did they go back after four years to win another gold medal?? Why does a high school athlete risk a severe knee injury if he knows he cant ever make it to the NFL? Why do high school basketball teams travel across the country to play in a basketball game when it doesn't really matter who they beat? Why does Tiger Woods keep playing golf when he is worth $40 billion or whatever and has all those majors? Is that enough references for you? Also, winning is something that becomes a way of life for a champion. You just can't decide that some days you want to win & some days you don't. Watch a champion like Justin play (something you should probably do anyways before you make comments towards him) & you can see when he is bearing down, sucking it up, willing himself to win. Winning creates heart and determination. Some people, no matter how good they might look in practice, just can't win (Greg Norman, Chicago Cubs, Buffalo Bills, PoolSharkAllen (j/k)). Winning is contagious. And when you know that everyone in the building is gunning for you, there is more of a challenge to it. Oh, and by the way and feel free to put this on your poolknowledge website....the winner of the Junior National Championships gets to represent the USA in the Junior World Championships, usually held in Europe or Australia. That trip is PAID FOR and probably worth, as a low estimate, $5000.

Now back to the topic at hand. Justin is still looking for a game in TUCSON ARIZONA. By the way, in the tournament he is 3-0 in his matches & has lost a total of 3 games. :)
