Your best playing cue

I have tried many cues since I've been back playing and my 100.00 meucci with a custom shaft plays better than all of them.

Without exception, all my cues play better than I do ... unfortunately. :frown: Thanks to Jamie/Worminator and a couple of deals here, I've managed to put together a respectable hand full of quality cues. I'd say the Barenbrugge feels the most solid but the difference between it and the Kikel and Gilbert is so fine I can't tell. I got a nice deal on a Diveney SP here a couple of weeks ago and it plays fantastic. When combined with an OB shaft, my Olivier is a great player.

None of my cues have ever missed a shot, however, the guy shooting the arrow has missed the target all too often.

I think all the cues I've kept play very well.

But I've to say my Josey. Great balance and feedback. Does everything I want it to do. Just a bit better than my other cues.

playing cues

I have the great fortune of owning and playing with the 2nd set of cues[steve lomax] made, he made thim special for me and has my name in gold lettering on them [STICK] i treasure them and they will be passed on down in my familey as i have a grandson [lil stick] coming along that shoots a mean stick with another friend of mine [mike gullassy] MADE FOR HIM IN 2002, HE LOVES IT . stick:thumbup::thumbup:

Both my cues that are my big players both have Predators on them, but
the only cue I have that I wouldn't hesitate to play a tournament with
and only has a maple shaft would be my Brian Mordt cue.It deflects a
little more than a Predator and I mean a little but hits like a freight train.
Its just a plain Cocobolo cue with a cortland wrap.

I picked up a Kenny Murrell 4-pointer from Jamie (Worminator) back in January...and it's a stone-cold nuts player. I'm in shock that I've actually managed to keep a cue for so long!!! (In all fairness, I did turn it loose for a brief 2-week period, but got lucky and got it back).

I slapped an OB Classic shaft on it...and it's a BEAST. I dare say, it's one of my all-time favorite cues. Clean, simple, classy...and the hit is amazing.

Kenny builds an awesome cue, and I'm fortunate to own two of them.

I wanna buy another cue from Jamie, as he's one of the VERY BEST guys to deal with. I already have it picked out....just gotta sell my Runde to afford it! :embarrassed2: :D

my african blackwood BCM cue. Bryan makes a sick f'n cue. no joke it makes the game a little bit easier. at least that's how i felt about it

Played most of em. For me though, my Pete Cherier custom cocobolo and curly. Brass radial. Linen collars. Hits amazing. Effortless, predictable, perfect.

My Paul Dayton ebony sneaky plays the best of any cue I've owned. Two friends who are A players love it as well. I keep trying fancier cues but something, the taper, the hit, the balance, or deflection interfere. I'll probably close out my days with this cue. Can't say I won't buy another but if I do it will be from Paul...Tom

Olney

If I had to pick one it would be my Olney. Very firm hit and good feedback. The joint is as tight as I've ever seen for a flat-faced. I'm sure everyone thinks their newest cue is the best, but I've gone through all mine quite a few times and it is the cream of the crop. It's the coco/birdseye of Bob Farr's in the Cue and Case Gallery.

rc3

ive been plaing with my ebony rc3 for a year now. ivory joint and ferrules and g10 pin. best cue i ever played with.

yesterday I tried my Tibbitts, wow unreal:eek::thumbup: I only have a problem that the Butts are too thick for my stroke:frown:
I think I have to sell that Monsters;)
