At 16 I was able to afford a Mcdemott D-5

Joined the Army found a used D-11 at a pawn shop for 75 $, broken shaft...used it for 18 years.

Had A McDermott with wolves on it in there somewhere, Pawned it for 40 bucks, good stick though.

So then I bought a new McDermott G602 last year because I wanted the G-core and it came with 2 (12/13 MM)

Recently the D-11 broke, but a friend had a nice un-refurbished D-15 in great shape for 200 bucks so I snagged it, it is one of my favorite I have ever owned.....LOVE MCDERMOTT!

Players, Lucasi, joss, predator sneaky, every model. pechauer, both player and break. Adams from Japan, helmstetter x2, rat x3, countless shafts, Michael Morgan, Fury, nitti, schon, Jacoby, Adams mizerak, $1400 Cohen that he send me with a roll, still can't get over that, gorgeous cue and hit great, I still tear up about it. I had a Tascarella for a week and sold it, glad I did, couldn't really afford it, so I never counted it as mine, dale perry which was garbage, jbaxter, man, there's so many more I can't even think of them all. I always end up with a rat cue somehow. I've had three titleist which I wanted to convert and never did. If I saved all that money though, lol. None in order, but I've went through them all looking for that one that feels right.

Good lord ... that's a life story thing. Huebler in late 70s .... now a Joss and Schon.

It' amazing that I don't see one Gina or one Richard Black cue on any of these lists, Jus' Sayn' !
You were not looking very hard then, I have seen several of each and I just skimmed thru a couple pages. There is a Richard Black 3 posts above yours!!!!

Let's see, i've owned a BUNCH and now i have three, Mezz-Jensen-JossWest. Oh, and a 100buck J&J j/b.

18. Coming: "Experimental" Schmelke reverse Rosewood sneaky with custom shaft taper and thin butt taper, 17oz, leather wrap (trying to duplicate Judd I had) (One of worst cues ever, they messed the shaft up so bad it was unplayable...still have it might play OK with aftermarket shaft)

19. Coming Kim Walker fancy custom (Build gallery here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.1135358106500303&type=3 Never got this. Cue became really delayed and did not have money when Kim was done)

26 Tascarella (Great cue, really pretty with windows in butt, SOLD and ordered custom Tascarella

27. Alan Phelps custom (Awesome hitting cue, among best I have ever played would be daily player if not for next cue) Will never sell

28. Tascarella custom (Brazilian Roswewood, built by Sr. 4 pointer light flame veneers, 17.5 oz even with SS joiint, regular shafts but has as little deflection as a Revo -have no idea how this is possible it has 1" ivory ferrules as well but it has no noticeable deflection even when testing for it. Current daily player (though with Covid has been year since I played) Best hitting cue I have ever had, Just incredible) Will never sell

Even though I am unlikely to replace the Tasc I am still collecting cues:

29. Treadway Merry Widow - Titanium joint lovely veneers, build gallery in Cue Gallery. Found outside pool table and hit couple rounds very solid and great sound. Distinctly different sound and hit because of joint. Promising cue

30. Coming - Diviney sneaky from Rounceville cocobolo/straight maple blank -Intended as super seedy bar cue. Not always comfortable with Tasc in those places. About a month away

31. Coming PFD Custom -Only input other than specs is to use 3 different woods none of which can be solid white or black. Should be cool to get I will have no idea what it looks like

35 Coming Barenbrugge past due on list

Also somewhere in there I had a Ryan Meyer for about a week but seller asked I sell it back to him and did. Oh and a Chuck Starkey -had Tascarella add a wrap on put his taper- sold it as a Starkarella. Guy who has it loves it

Plenty of house cues (worked in a pool hall)
Cheap 2-piece Taiwan Mosconi cue that a guy gave me when I was a kid working in the pool hall
Cheap 2-piece cue (probably import) that I bought off the same guy for $10 (if I remember correctly)
A.E. Schmidt Titlist conversion that I bought brand new for $105 from the A. E. Schmidt company in 1973 (still have it)
Richard Black ebony 4-point that I had him make for me in 1978 (sold it in the Philippines)
Richard Black rosewood Casino cue that I had him make for me in 1981 (sold it in Grand Forks, ND)
McDermott C-14 that I bought new in 1985 (still have it) (refinished by McDermott and added new matching shaft)
Dale Perry rosewood cue that I bought a couple years ago to play with while my C-14 was being refurbished by McDermott (Sold it)
Players rosewood Sneaky Pete (still have it)
Players tuxedo cue with HXT shaft (sold it)
Cuetec bottom-of-the-line cue with White Diamond tip that I use for breaking (still have it)
1950s Titlist cue that I had Mike Pancerny from Detroit convert into a 2 piece (1 Pancerny shaft and 1 Predator FAT shaft custom fit by Mike), my usual player (still have it) (added a Meucci Carbon Pro shaft for it)
Adam (Japan) Hall of Fame ebony 4-point cue (Balabushka copy without the signature) (still have it) (Meucci carbon fits it)
McDermott RS-11 cue that I bought off C. J. Wiley with original shaft and a custom Meucci Pro shaft that was made for it for C. J. (this was the cue that C. J. used when he beat Earl Strickland in the 1996 Million Dollar Challenge tournament final, after Earl had won the million dollars on the first day) (still have it)
Becue with three carbon fiber shafts (2 Prime 12mm shafts and 1 5.1 conical taper 11.8mm shaft)
Custom Schmelke 4-point full splice (purple heart into ebony) (sold it)
Mike Gulyassy white ebony PHX cue with PHX SPT shaft (still have it)
Murray Tucker cocobolo Sneaky Pete with two shafts (still have it)

I've probably had a couple more, but it's early in the morning and I still haven't finished my first cup of coffee.

Updated to reflect new toys.
Got rid of the Players tuxedo cue, the Dale Perry, the Meucci Pro wood shaft, and the Meucci Pro carbon shaft.

Traded the Becue 5.1 conical shaft for a new black Becue Prime shaft (Now have 3 12mm Primes - two white and 1 black).

Added two Jackpot cues (with 7 shafts) and a custom cue from Coos Cues (JC) with 3 shafts.

Mine started out with humble beginnings as a tree in a bad area of the woods. It grew up and lived in the cheaper area , and was surrounded by dubious types of other species until it was harvested for the great transformative years . After a couple weeks of "seasoning" it was shaped into a piece of fighting equipment , with the emphasis on clubbing , rather than finesse'. It was pretty much unappreciated all it's life and has been relegated to a corner of a closet , probably to never be used again by the original owner. Undoubtedly some picker, slimester, type will come by and steal it from my widow, and tell all his friends how shrewd a business man he is . May a pox be on anyone who does that and may he have Rickets ,shingles and foot odor for eternity, if they do as I have said.
