Your Favorite Cuemaker/Repairman

I am well informed as of 36 hours ago, unless something has changed in that short amount of time. I just find it humorous that this situation is almost identical to the current issue with Ted Harris...

btw - Bob is a friend of mine, so it's not like I'm getting 5th hand info...
Well obviously your friend hasn't told you the truth.

UH, Ms Stray bullet, I think if you had lost a valuable cue you would not consider asking the cuemaker to return it as a rant ! but then since he hasn't obviously taken anything from you ...............

actually I thought I was being honest about his ability to perform the work! and letting folks know not to leave that work with him!

I wouldn't respond to the StrayBullet. From what I've seen and heard, she has a tough time getting along with people.

She isn't the only one, but after 2-3 of her PM's I had enough of her and you are right LOL!! Thanks

Gets his work done and takes care of his customers.

If you're in need while in western Pennsylvania, ask John Minteer for any cue work. He's very upfront, doesn't waste time, and knows what he's talking about.

I admire his work, and I'm never dissatisfied. I'm no different than his other clients.

Hey "6-ball kid",
Why use a PM to Jersey? I believe we need to advertise for the best in Ga. Here I go:
Kevin Wright: 770-975-0565
Danny Tibbitts: 770-926-0475
"cueman" = Chris Hightower: 770-684-7004
And a couple more you may have not heard of:
Steve Lomax:, hm: 706-776-1252, cl: 709-499-0803
Craig Anderson: 770-356-1166

Jersey, next time you need this kind of info; Just Ask.

Interesting statement considering you've been with us for a WHOLE week

Well I for one LOL! hate to say it but Ted does a good job! the problem with him is he can't be trusted with taking your cue out of your sight!
Steve Lomax here in Atlanta, has done 3 cues for me and I am getting ready to give him my most prized Palmer to cleanup and retip and wrap, all of his work thus far has been reasonably priced and well done!

Hey "MrLucky",
Steve Lomax: based in Cornelia, GA and is also considered to be one of the best with leather wraps.

Lamar

Dave Whitsell

If you are in the So. Cal area I would send you to Dave Whitsell. He will soon be moving his shop from Orange county back to San Diego.
Make sure you check out Dave's work in the new blue book.
If you are at a tournament and Guido is there he is my go to guy. But I have also had good work done by Blackburn and Ron Guyer

I go to Kevin Wright for all repair work except refinishing that can be sent to the original maker - Kevin pays amazing attention to detail and is also very personable and timely. But I wouldn't hesitate to use anyone in Georgia who Lamar recommends.

In the Richmond, VA area, Todd Elkins, of Parrot Cues is more than competant. I hear he will be at the Tiger Tour season finale 12/ 3+4/5.

for me, if its a serious repair, i just sent it up to tom coker since he has made both of my cue, he does great work, and you really cant beat the price. and its always easy to talk to him or his wife michi and there customer service is outstanding.
for quick tip changes i go to norm, a local repair man that hangs out at mr. lucky's in torrance, he does great work. and the turn-around time is really good. great work and a low cost.

I like GUIDO for shaft work, including resizing, changing taper, tips, ferrules, etc. He's one of the few that does compression rating on tips. He has Morii's broken down to 12 (I think) different hardness. From the joint up, GUIDO is the best.

But if you're in the Mid-South, go to Joe Blackburn. Great work. Great guy.

For major cue repair, wraps, refinishes, etc., Scott at Proficient gets my vote.
Top-notch professional all the way.

-Von

I can't believe that Scott Sherbine of Proficient isn't mentioned more often. He's as good as they come for repair and refinish He doesn't rob you either.

Northeast parts MIKE WEBB the best ..up there .
Down in the southeast MIKE G 9 (the hammer man)..great work u'll be plzed

Just had a cue refinished by Mike Webb. Came out like new, couldn't be happier. Mike takes a lot of pride in what he does.
