Somehow, in the course of this thread, the World 14.1 HOF has lost all relevance.
I'm not sure what that sentence means. Every year at this time, some talk arises as to what Dragon is doing and should have done with this Hall.
But if you mean we should just get back to the nominations, here's mine. They always put in at least one living past star. I think that should be Sigel, the best 14.1 player from the past who is still alive but no longer active.
They did, they just for some reason missed a number of very obvious ones we've already mentioned on this thread.
How about one living inductee, and one posthumous inductee, per year, until they get completely caught up with all the greats no longer with us that they've for whatever reason overlooked up to this point?
The main issue as I see it is that Charlie does zero interaction with the site unless he is selling something or advertising his tournament.
He could have come on this thread and followed up with conversation, answered questions, and at the very least made people feel that he was genuinely interested in the thoughts of the AZB members.

Hopefully whoever does the posting for him will pass this on, and perhaps we'll get a response back. It's only been a few days.
Get rid of this straight pool only HOF. As others mentioned, when 14.1 was THE game, the BCA HOF recognized all of those champs in the BCA HOF, which is the MAIN pool HOF.
To make a new HOF just for straight pool is silly. Because, all the old timers are already in the main BCA HOF. And, if any modern player is jam up at 14.1 and deserves recognition, then he is also jam up at the rotation games, and the BCA HOF will recognize him when his time comes.
Just another case of CW trying to make his head bigger.
