Yow, front page news!

I just wanted to share with you all my excitement about making front page news in the Commercial Appeal (Memphis newspaper). I was interviewed (by a beautiful young journalist) as part of a trio of intriguing graduates. I can't believe it, but it's front page news, and my picture is above the fold!!! Praise Him!

I'm sandwiched between two equally compelling, yet opposite stories of a 16yo graduating with her bachelor's and a 79yo who decided to go back. I'm not sure how a preacher/pro-trick-shot-artist/law graduate fits in there, but it's an honor to be there nonetheless. Thanks for checking it out. Now I've got to go study... ;)

Nice Cues!

No one can ever get the name of the place right- everyone likes to say Hot Pockets. We should play one day when you need to take a break from bar prep.

Good Question

I'm not sure how you made the front page either. All of the law school graduates I know are champion trick shot artists and preachers!

I know that you are busy with getting ready to pass the bar but you also need to be setting up some local exhibitions while the iron is hot. You may not have time to do them but try to at least schedule some.

You can't beat your picture on the front page for free advertising, especially when they show your better side! I made the local paper and TV channels now and then when I had an emergency wrecker service. Unfortunately they had a knack for catching my backside when I was bent over and pressed hard against something trying to reach to hook a chain. My wife said unkind things about those shots. I had the most recognizable wrecker in town from the front or either side, you guessed it, they always shot the backside of it too!

Studying is so much fun when you get off campus and realize how many people haven't studied the material.

Explaining the material in a delicate manner has always proved harder than an exam.

Congratulations...I'd like to add that it's refreshing to read some good front page news for a change!

Shoot Like God

Good luck with the bar. Gongrats on the media coverage. I've seen your videos and my wife thinks the cue ball is remote controlled. I have wondered once or twice myself. :D :D Once you pass the bar you will be able to legalize SHOOTING LIKE GOD!!!! .

Eric it's great to see good things happening to a good person. I wish you all the happyness and success that God has in store for you.

That is pretty sweet!:) Last time I was on the front page it wasn't for anything nearly so honorable;):D
