Thanks Kenny, I used Bing Translator in traditional Chinese rather than simplified Chinese, whatever simplified means.
I couldn't tell the difference, it all looked the same to me>>
If I ever order a cue from Zen I better do it in English.

Haha i think it's best you order in english or you might end up with a barbie doll inlayed jump cue...

That could happen with local cuemakers here in Denver after spending 3-hours in their shop, and now I'm worried.

BTW, thanks for taking the time to post these interesting pics

Hi,

Big Talent revealed here!!

This is where that guy who always makes the argument that cue makers who use CNC are not true artists.

Yeah Right! LOL

Zen Rocks and it sets the bar just a little higher for all CMs and that is a very good thing.

Amazing talent...

These are some of the most amazing cues I've seen lately, from a relatively unknown cue maker until recently LOL... The work looks impeccable and Ren is in top form when it comes to design.

Those are some pretty big name cue makers checking out his work...
Wonder what they're thinking? ;)
I know looks aren't everything, but if they play a fraction as well as they look, Ren will be around for a long time. Thanks for posting up the pictures Jive. It's hard to pick a favorite out of that group of cues. Incredible...

How long has Ren been making cues?

Thanks for sharing the pictures. Zen has a great future in cue making with this level of craftsmanship.

I saw these in person as well Jive. Ren was way cool and humble as they say. He allowed me to take a few hits and they are pretty sporty and stiff. My fav is the Dragon cue. It was also nice talking to Chady.

Wow. Looks like he is taking cue designs to the next level.

I'm curious, do you know what Tony (Black Boar) had to say about his cues/designs?

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mickey.
Clint

clint, zen's cues were amazing....the played really nice...not to stiff along the lines of a good one piece cue...such a nice guy wish i could of kept one of those beauties here in the states for sure....just wasnt in the cards..:o

I hear ya buddy, My cue buying days are over until my financial situation improves(except for the two I'm waiting on)...These last 2 yrs have been difficult, and until things change...I'm just an admirer. :embarrassed2:

But this work is mesmerizing... My only critique if I may, is this silver inlays in the dragon cue's points. Might of left them points only, done something other than "lines" or silver/black veneers would have looked killer, I don't know...to each his own!! The dragon inlay in the butt looks great though.

And then we have...
The Greek, Buddha, and Floral/Stained Glass "butted" ones which are truly some fine works of art, as is the ivory window cue. I'm leaning towards the Buddha theme myself... :)

It's also good to hear they hit well... I understand what your saying about the feel, and that's my type of hit :)
Thanks for the info Mickey, maybe one day...
Clint
