Zinzola on ebay

Ryan there are a few here at the expo who have said the same thing...i would guess that there will be some results soon for a few guys who have been waiting for cues...hopefully yours will get resolved also
 
Looks nice, but why the same cue that was just sold by him? This one or another copy of the same design?... Same photos as one that was just completed and sold. Hmmmm....
 
I have no info other then a question - why the same cue with same photos that just sold a few weeks ago by the same seller on Ebay? Going production route or is this the same cue?... Someone mentioned the same thought. If so... this will effect investment value. No mention or explanation such as "a non paying bidder." I think it a bit strange is all.
 
the item was relisted due to a non-paying better that's all there is nothing really strange about it...I agree that that should be disclosed in the description of the item but that is up to the seller whether he wants to disclose that information or not...as far as people waiting for their cues I think we will start to see them fairly soon I know a lot of us are getting very impatient, probably none more so than me and a friend of mine, but I really think he is going to start turning owed cues out of his shop. Tony is an amazing talent and I hope he starts getting these Q's out and re establish himself as a top cuemaker

He is the seller, if you want an explanation just email him, I got an answer from him via email, it really is no big deal, he had a cue laying around prob needed some cash and dumped it. No way he coulda listed it here cuz he gets bashed everytime the word Zinzola comes up so I kinda don't blame him for Ebaying it. I can't imagine having the time to do all the detective work some AZers do...lol!
 
Why do you say he gets bashed?... Sorry, I don't know what's going on I guess. Thought he was liked a lot.
 
Never read a thread bashing Zinzola...must have missed those. I always thought he was held in very high regard on AZ...builds a nice cue, that is for sure.

I only say that because there was a few threads a while back that will really ripping him apart I was regrettably one of the people commenting negatively because I was upset with him at the time I did not have all the facts at the time and have since retracted my comments

There were a fee a little while back, I personally spoke to Tony about them
 
I think I see what you mean. I looked at his site and I read something about a grand surcharge for the one of the kind cues. Steep... However, for what he does and how he seems to be able to build a cue, he should be charging more in the first place.

I wonder what his comment on this was when you spoke to him? I can see how some people may wonder about this. If I had a design for a special cue, I would question the added grand as well, but it's just his way to bring his price up to what it should be while allowing to spread the word of his cues in this hard economy. Money is tight for many.

I did not need to investigate. The reason I knew he was the seller is because I just bought one from him on ebay in Feb. So there you go...
