From the realm of the strange, the odd, the bizarre...meet The Terminator!

As is often the way with Chinese manufacturing, this is a clone of a cue made by some guy who specializes in making items from titanium a few years back.

Nice find.

Yeah, the clones are nuts.

My daughter is an artist, I discuss this with her frequently, as well as AI.

They will clone anything for a buck.

Classic match Q. What cue did Nick Varner use during this match?

Funkin’ fun time Friday!

Talking head don’t know shit and keeps talking about Rempe’s 10,000 dollar cue. Before the break the camera man zooms in and guy starts gushing.

I mean it was a nice birds eye forearm Merry Widow and Hopkins is trying to tell the guy that it is only his break cue. He finally gets the hint.

I did very much enjoy the old commercials. L.A. beer made me think of this under rated gem from the Ozzmosis album: if that guitar don’t give you goose bumps you don’t got no soul:

8-ball call shot question

If, for example, the 2-ball is called and not hit, yet the cue hits another solid and then a rail is contacted, is there a foul since the 2-ball was not made as called?
If you want to go by the official rules of pool, there is a link below. If you are playing in a league or local tournament, you need to ask whoever is in charge. If you are playing in some random group of people, maybe they have their own, special rules.

But... I have never seen any rule where you would not get credit for rail contact in that situation. If someone wants to call a foul for that shot, leave at the first chance. You cannot trust the people you are playing with.

The standard fouls are listed in Section 3, and the rules of eight ball are listed in Section 4.

SVB vs Josh Filler announced for Feb 6th at NYC's Amsterdam Billiards

It was a glorious evening at Amsterdam Billiards and thanks to all those who made it possible, most notably owner Greg Hunt.

Tonight, Shane was the better man, winning at both nine ball and eight ball. Perhaps the most amazing thing about this match was that Josh and Shane have both a World 9ball championship and a World 8ball championship on their career resumes.

Of all the exhibitions I have ever attended at Amsterdam, this was the best, featuring an absolutely magnificent level of play, good crowd interaction with the players, and great sportsmanship between the players (for example, if Shane did something special, Josh always cheered as hard as anybody).

Attendees were spoiled rotten, getting to play one-rack challenge matches against these two superstars and getting to meet them and get their autographs on cue balls, shirts and cases.

Bravo to both Shane and Josh for the way they conducted themselves. They were great ambassadors for pool,
