Pool cue butt with a carom shaft.

I played 3c mostly with pool cue. If you try you will notice fast that pool cue butts are too whimpy and soft. They go "spaghetti mode" when you hit heavier ball hard. There is solution to that though.. if you really want to use pool butt.
I played with break cue(BK-2) butt and they are stiff and play fine.
Yes the predator BK2 would probably be a good carom cue.
But as I mentioned earlier, I was interested in buying a McDermott carom shaft to use with my pool cue butt. I think that would have worked well, but it turned out I got my old Adams carom cue back, so I don't need to worry about that anymore (unless something happens to the butt section, that is 🫣).

Thank you for your reply.
Regards Ronnie

Sounds like you were well aware of the nature of this guy well before then. Handing your cue over borders on insanity.

But then calling a $100 set doubled to 2 bills cheap is borderline degenerate gambler mentality. I fold my c notes in half and put them back in my pocket if I need to double them.

These are all the opinions of a "nit" :ROFLMAO:

30 min practice spurts.. better then hit a million balls?

That's worth a dollar right there!! 👊🏻
It happens to a lot of players, from league and recreational players, to even some pros occasionally. If you bring your goals and ego INTO a match, I.E. being obsessed with beating a particular player, the score of the match, the importance of it, etc. these things detract from focusing on your process.

We can’t live in the past or the future, only in the moment we are in at any given time. So you can’t abide letting your mind become preoccupied with past failures, or missed shots, or the importance of outcome of the match you’re in, who’s watching, what they think, etc. as these things detract from you giving your full focus to your process, and the shot currently in front of you. Failure to let all that other stuff go, so you can give your full attention to the present moment, never leads to anything good.

I remember overhearing a conversation where one person commented to his player that he seemed tense. The player replied that his family was in the audience and he was concerned of what they’d think if he lost. His sponsor said, well unless you change your line of thinking, you’re going to find out what they think, because you’re not going to play your best when distracted by something you can’t control.

I’d like my shit back.

Me wife spared moneys and bought it for me for our anniversary.

Scooter knew and still knows this.

I just want me cue back exactly the way it was handed over.

Not from some $3 OF chick that’s texting me trying to cover his debts. Not Scooter’e baby momma from 12 years ago who hasn’t seen him in over 6 years; or his mommy for that matter.

I just want my fkn property and my moneys.

Scooter, Fred Goodman; you, sir; are simply despicable.

I don’t want to sound like I’m piling on too much. I really do mean this to be constructive. But to me the thing to ponder is giving out the anniversary present. This was the bigger part of the mistake and is on you- you had an extra reason to say no and you didn’t. Examine that and maybe it will be a more valuable lesson in the long term than the more obvious one of not lending to that guy etc….
