Figured BEM handle, on a Players PureX pool cue. Real, or Fake / Decal / Graphic Overlay?

The coring was done before the cue was put together.

I have two Jackpots and seven interchangeable shafts for them.

They play lights out.

ok, so Schmelkie sent the cue to Vigus to have the coring done? And, then Vigus sent the cue to Deano, before it was sold to you? Lol. Sorry for my confusion. Or, Vigus sent a blank (that he made) to Schmelkie, to get finished by Schmelkie, and then sent to Deano.

Dealings with Joe Salazar Connoisseur of Cues

Because its a small claims case, Texas has 150 mile limit on Serving a Subpoena, I and others have attempted to deal with the estate attorney, probate has not been filed even after offer to assist with that, so this case is my only recourse to recover my property. I considered Joe a Friend I have bought and sold several cues through Joe over the last 30 years, never had any problems. Again not looking to bash Joe or the family just attempting to recover my two cues that were not sold by him before his passing.
Last time I checked, you have to disclose that what you are doing is "an attempt to collect a debt" nothing you are doing is following with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. "I posted to a forum and asked if anyone had a problem with Joe and someone said they did." Guessing you don't have an attorney on this, or he would tell you that posting to the forum for references good or bad has 0 bearing on the probate case or a claim against the estate.

Breaking ground on new backyard pool hall

Will this place have a toilet?

Or will the yard out the back door suffice?
It would have been a big job and added cost to run septic pipe and water lines to the pool hall. Just a 60 feet walk will put you on my patio and the door is right there leading to my bathroom. Not having a bathroom is not a big deal in my situation, plus if someone took a nasty poo it would clear the pool room lol.

Cue makers in South florida

order a cue from dennis but make sure you give no money in advance like with south west.

if he says you must pay in advance. ask him if they let him get gas and pay later. or at the supermarket.

or give him a credit card if he will finish with a month. then if not you can cancel the sale.

of course he wont do any of that.

"Best" is not the same as "greatest." Fedor is probably already a "better" player than Efren was -- that's the nature of progress in every sport; the younger players learn from the older ones and stand on the shoulders of giants. But that's not the same thing as being a "greater" player: context matters, and access to information also matters. Inventing new knowledge is harder than learning that same knowledge.
Agreed, best is irrelevant. Greatness is measured in titles, and titles are won against one's contemporaries. That's why cross-generation comparisons are so difficult.

Ultimately, the question will be whether Gorst dominated his contemporaries in all-around play more or less than Efren dominated his contemporaries, not who the better player was. Perhaps by the time he retires, Fedor will have done just that, and perhaps not, but it would be foolish to suggest that it can't happen.

And, yes, Gorst is going for, and completing, one-pocket runouts on which Efren would have passed and his incredible banking skills make him a greater threat to rally to win an up-table rack than any player I've ever watched. The execution skill of a player like Fedor has changed the game of one pocket a lot and, even on this forum, it has been often noted that the moves oriented one pocket players are not winning as often as they did in the last generation of play.

I'd say that if you don't think Gorst is already on the short list of the best ever all-around players like Lassiter, Varner, Reyes, SVB or Pagulayan, you overlook just how special Gorst is. I have been around pro pool long enough to have watched all of them, and Fedor is already deserving of inclusion in serious all-around GOAT conversations.

Much in the way that Ronnie Allen did in the 1970s, Fedor has helped bring one pocket to a level previously unseen. He is also already among the best that ever played bank pool and his rotation pool skills are, undeniably, super-elite.

Right now, we are watching the best cueists that ever screwed a cue together. It is not sacrilegious to suggest that, even as all-an around player, Fedor has a chance to be remembered as having surpassed Efren as an all-around player. Of course, he hasn't done it yet, and maybe he never will, but keep an eye out.

However it plays out it should be enjoyable to see how it develops.
Sigel was a better all around player than that entire group you named. He simply excelled at 14.1, 9-Ball and One Pocket. Played strong Banks (Varner speed) as well.

Ronnie definitely changed the way One Pocket was played but no one had his creativity and knowledge. Then Efren came along and shook the entire One Pocket world with his unique shot making and cue ball mastery.

when someone dies and it goes to probate you need to submit your claims on the estate to them.

not necessarily to the possible heirs.

its a lousy deal but you need proof of what is yours and need to submit it before stuff is distributed.

consignment always puts what you give to someone at some kinds of risk.

none of this has anything to do with joe's character. he is totally out of the picture.

I never said Gorst wasn't a great player. I said that MOT titles don't determine that. You can't just look at Reyes' 5 MOT titles and say that that's the benchmark for equaling his greatness as a player. It would be like saying Buddy Hall wasn't one of the all time greats because he doesn't have a world championship -- that misses that there was no world championship until he was already well past his prime.

I personally don't think that Fedor (or anyone) has revolutionized the game in the way that Efren has, but that's not to say that it's impossible.
The best 9-Ball player of them all was Buddy Hall. Efren was only best at One Pocket. The greatest player at all games I ever saw remains Harold Worst.

I don't think it's arguable that Efren's prime was after he turned 44 years old. Yes, Efren won lots of events in 2003-10, but many of those events didn't exist or didn't have strong international fields before that time period. So all this shows is that the opportunities for titles increased as Efren got older, and that he had extremely good longevity, not that he was in his prime in his late 40s and 50s.

It's true that Efren learned 1p and banks later in life, but that's also because these were more niche games, played mostly by Americans, when Efren was younger. If Efren had learned these games when he was younger, he would have dominated then too.

This is why I don't think it makes much sense to compare Efren's greatness as an all-around player to today's players by looking at DCC MOT awards: players like Fedor, today, grew up in an era where all the top players were playing every game, and had tournaments like the DCC to compete at for their whole careers. Efren grew up in an era where top international players didn't compete in 1p or banks, and the DCC didn't even exist. If it had existed when Efren was 20, and there was prize money to be won, can anyone really imagine he wouldn't have at least a few more MOT titles?
Efren was the dominent One Pocket player since the early 90's and playing his best 9-Ball then too. Not sure when he started competing at DCC but he certainly had the opportunity years earlier than 2003 or even 1999 for that matter.

The evidence suggests otherwise. SVB skipped each of the first two WNT events of 2026, (European Open, UK Open) but he won the third (Florida Open) and has every chance to win the fourth (Arizona Open) later today.

Last month, SVB played a long race against Fedor and was beaten convincingly. Despite a slow start at the majors this year, there's little evidence that Fedor has slipped much at all. Fedor may work as hard at his craft as anyone we've ever seen, and you can be sure he's not letting a brief hiatus in competition interrupt his always ambitious practice routine.

Emily knows that for the Mosconi to be competitive at all, Fedor must be on Team USA. I'm sure Fedor realizes it, too.
One small difference. Shane skipped the much longer trip overseas. Fedor missed two domestic events. That said, you made your point.

I was wrong, but he was really very mean, and very nasty towards me. Some of you guys tend to be really nasty to me at times, and it really gets under my skin. Do you even see how nasty you are at times? I have mental problems. I just can't hand it, and laugh it off, or whatever.

Some of you guys do not seem like the type that would ever admit when you are wrong about anything that you say. Some guys here just seem like total narcissists.
Ok I get it now. You're Justin. Maybe your mom can complain again and people will be kinder to you?

Weren't you banned from here more than twice?
