World Pool Championships 2025, July 21-26, Jeddah

His situation with the game kinda reminds me of Dustin Johnson 6'6'' golfer that when he hit his stride yrs ago, it was like Scotty Scheffler, cept he could hit it further, bigger man.
Dusting rented a home to play in an event here in the states a few yrs back, he tripped on his way in or out of the home and the injury set em back when he was Ahead of the pack.
He's never played like that again, I'm hopin Kaci will.
A big guy can do more with longer arms.

Efren's Facebook Posts

Same with the YouTube channel...most likely not him. Maybe another, maybe AI, maybe a mix. His voice is obviously emulated, he never spoke like that.

I think it's obvious.

I don't look at FB, but occasionally see the YouTube videos. They are fun just because you get to watch some curated videos of him playing.

Lucasi 612 (L-E46) Custom Series

Cocobolo flames on titanium white L-E46

Purchased this cue from a pawn shop for $50 about 20 years ago. It was my only cue for a long time an only about a year ago replaced with a Viking. I carry the cue as a backup. Shaft is slightly warped, not significant to really be an issue. I'm kicking around getting a replacement shaft from Schmelke, but will keep the original stored away to keep the cue complete. I believe this originally had a leather wrap but not 100% sure.

Waxing the cue ball? WTF is Kaci talking about now?

I have never seen it done like the video showing a player putting the ball in his pocket. I don't think that should be allowed because growing up learning to play at a young age, the rule is don't touch the ball. There is "watch the hit", a common lexicon in pool, so putting the ball and hiding in it briefly for an innocent cleaning/waxing/polishing shouldn't be allowed.

Remember the opponent has to touch the ball and I wouldn't want to handle a cue ball that was just down some guy's pants. Pant pockets are dirty as it is.

Ball in pocket should have already raised a red flag.

you can't have played pool long if you never seen someone cleaning a pool ball in his pocket.. which 99.9% of the time is to get rid of chalk

Waxing the cue ball? WTF is Kaci talking about now?

Amazing how many folks claim they knew about it and never uttered a peep. Kind of feel they're to blame as much as those doing the waxing for not bringing this to light before. It's shocking, actually.

we don't know if yapp would have started this "peep uttering" if it wasn't for part of the controversy being caught on the main TV broadcast

so i’ve decided to make cues

At least it'll look like he made it.

Yup, it’s probably not going to be perfect. I’ll probably try and fail to combat taper wave by hand. It will likely roll off since it was a tired house cue to begin with.

however, its going to make my nephew really happy that his uncle made him a pool cue.

seriously, dude, go find something else to do. nobody wants your negative attitude here.

you are no longer welcome in my thread.

Brunswick Royal Knight or Peter Vitale Loyd Nelson

Hello Jim,did you ever get the furniture style table that you were looking for? I have a Brunswick Royal Knight and a Peter Vitale Lord Nelson as well as a Tsunami model
I haven’t yet. Our house has been delayed a bit. I can get a black GC4 for around 3k but my wants me to get a furniture table. I keep looking at the Royal Knight on eBay that’s near Orlando but I think 10k is way too high. A while back I saw an AE Schmidt table that reminds me of a Kling, it was around 3k. If I can locate a good table at a reasonable price I’ll buy it and store it till our house is finished. Plus I want to send the rails to Jack Zimmerman to get the pockets tightened up.
