tip technology - hardness at center different from hardness at edges

I guessing cue tips are done in spreads or sheets or whatever the correct term is and stamp cut out so seems impossible to me to create such a tip. Think about 13 mm vs a 11.5 mm and how are they gonna compare in hard center a soft edges to each other when they both got stamped out of a 14 mm stamp cutter from a large sheet. I’m not from Mo. but they still gonna have to show and prove to me that what Zan hybrid claims is a true fact. Now I could believe what Kamui Athlete says about having four layers of hard bottom and four layers of a softer top. Not advocating them simply comparing their claims.
