To be fair, in most cases the man is the significantly better player. And having watched quite a few team events, I’ve seen some of those same men are also quite the director with their male teammates.
so don't have all the events going on at the same time.. it takes away from what's supposed to be a world championship. they didn't have to drag the women to vietnam and set up this jack and jill bs sideshow
I agree they shouldn't be at the same time. But I like the variety of events. I think they should do the women's and doubles events concurrently as an opening act, and then do the 10b world championship after, allowing it to run as the only focus and in a reasonable time frame.
That would also allow the men who aren't doing doubles to not pay so many hotel nights (...which is probably the opposite of what the organizers want).
