Jump sticks should be allowable. I mean for years in golf playing a stymie helped you win the hole in match play
unless your opponent spun or jumped over your ball that had to be at least 6” distant from the opposing ball or the obstructing ball had to be lifted and marked. A lot of greens got messed up from playing a wedge on a green to jump
over an opponent’s ball. In tournaments, the cloth will get burned from jump shots but it’s inconsequential to the match’s outcome. If you had to jump a ball in golf, why not pool? I’ve played lot of 3 cushion so I don’t ever play a jump shot.

It's also reasonably priced. I looked yesterday at driving down and could get a room at the Embassy Suites for $150 a night.

Now, accessing the website to try to buy a ticket to the tournament itself didn't really work out. Kept getting errors and wouldn't allow me to buy any tickets LOL

I declared that I would never be that caught off guard again so I immediately started making a duplicate of the WNT tables. Now I didn't go out and buy a diamond pro 9 foot as I already have a Gold crown 3. So what I did was order the WNT dynasphere ball set and extended the rail beds (which I've intended to do ever since I switched from my old 4" pocketed table to the gold crown that my best friend gave me with standard cut pockets) and bought the CPBA cloth that they use.

Well here it is a week and a half later and I did it. I duplicated the table. Atleast it plays exactly like the WNT tables did at Yuma. I pulled the cloth super tight.

So you’re a slow player too huh? Look everyone that is a serious player should have a “process”, what others call a PSR. But when players in a game as straightforward as 9 ball have to recheck their shot line, angle on the next ball, etc. 2,3 or 7 times then that’s ridiculous. That kind of over evaluation and analysis is exactly as I stated in my first post, gamesmanship or an individual that doesn’t trust his instincts or training. As some would say, it ain’t rocket science
