A Couple Of Diamond Professional Observations

I modified the CS diagram. It's more like what I was talking about now. The original post might have made it seem it was a much easier shot. The angle on the new diagram is much steeper now.
Steeper to the aperture but the shot's a straight in. I think players might have a tendency to equate aperture to pocket speed. Translates to habituated sloppiness. I don't buy it.

secret to long table bank shots

To all the experts chiming in...
Do you know the level of play of the OP?

Why is there no questions of the OP to figure out their ability vs jumping into all these diagrams and theoretical & sterile systems.

If I can assume this player can see the angles, then the problem comes down to fundamentals.

Stepping Into the Shot Line
Delivering the cue in a Straight Line
No head movement...

Diagrams are great but also don't consider table and ball conditions. Diagrams are sterile and theoretical since conditions very on every table.

So without knowing this OP I suggest working on delivering your cue in a straight line and not moving till the OB hits the 2nd rail or the pocket.

Work on that, then maybe go to the diagrams and systems for more advanced banking techniques.
Wish you luck with THE systems.
