One thing I did, which suited two purposes, was to line up with my tip over the top center of the CB. This allowed me to start on 'true center' of the cue ball and ensured that I was lined up to still have my arm moving forward at contact to reduce the chances of decelerating.

if you have seen top players beat really good players playing with a broom stick handle, you might reconsider that.

and ive seen players grab a stick at random off the wall and run a hundred balls. and also play runout 9 ball all day long.

He’s just nuts. Has nothing to do with a high performer.

There must have been 30 or more pros his same speed in pool history and none acted like him.

On an amateur level, I don’t know of any either.
