Custom and High End Cues on the Decline?

However, there is an exception: Asian market (China and Southeast Asian) - they would spend $10,000+ and wait 2+ years for a high-end custom cues. The re-sell market is huge other there too.
You're right, but even this market is shrinking, as people would rather buy something from their own backyard than across the ocean. I still know a few people who like to spend big on American hand made cues, and know the market well. Even then, lots tend to go REALLY big, with south west, black boar, TAD, Scruggs and others, before they go for many of the other great makers. What I see predominately, are what I would call 'factory custom' cues rising in price (like Zen, Exceed etc), where people choose from a variety of parts ready to be pieced together in a large warehouse, and a fabricated wait time of 2 years or more to simulate the rarity/specialness and drive the value up.

Will the squak at bringing a cooler to your room?
No. Everybody does it. Its how I live with my dietary restrictions on the road. I stopped staying at the hotel 6 or 7 years ago. I stay at my nephews in Louisville now.

The breakfast isn't bad in the hotel, but the resturant in town is better and cheaper. Like someone said, when you enter the actual casino from the hotel they will search your pool case. Be extra careful with what's in your case.

314-3 vs Vantage shaft

I have a 20 something year old 314 which I'm not in love with. I just unpacked a new vantage and shot with it for a bit. The deflection is pretty low and it seems to be a pretty solid/straight hitting shaft for sure. So far I like it. It doesn't feel all that big to me but I kind of like a bit of a conical taper.
any noticeable difference in deflection between the 2? thats really my deciding factor. I want the largest diameter i can get while still having really low deflection.
