Identifying Rail Cushions? Klematch? For 9 ball?

Hi everyone , my current table doesn’t play as close to my local’s as I would like (seems the installer sold and installed a fake Simonis…), and am now curious if the rails are actually what I ordered back in the day or not… (regardless of if it was the right decision or not)

Supposedly the premium option available for this table at the time was a Klematch, but the color doesn’t seem consistent with the brand?

The table plays quite slow, I am sure the cloth is a good part, but curious if changing the rails would also be an improvement or not…

Any ideas what the rails are, and if worth changing? Thanks!

Oscar on the Boom and Freezer podcast

Personally, I think they should have four players selected on ranking points and one wildcard.
I would accept both teams get 5 straight from ranking points no matter what. Aside from that, I’d also entertain 3-4 on ranking points. No player captain. And the last 1-2 must be chosen via an in-person selection process (“tryouts”) from the next 4-6 on ranking points in a manner determined by the captain. Have them do drills and play off against each other. In an ideal world that could be multiple sessions but I’d be okay if it was its own singular televised “making the team” event.

One I found...Danny vs. Grady

Let's face it guys, father time is one cruel Bastid....I never did play to your level, so maybe at 82, having a spinal collapse that resulted in being crippled and having the c3,c4,c5, and c6 vertebrae fused, shouldn't bother me as much as it does...but damn, so many things I used to do...pool being one of them. Hey, at least I can get around with a walker...when I woke up after surgery on April 2nd...I was totally paralyzed. Then the next day, could wiggle fingers and toes....I'm doing therapy...and God Bless the PT's of this world...they've been helping me tremendously in trying to get better...
Keep going! I finally understand why there are pool tables in most every senior center. It's great exercise for our old bodies, all the bending and stretching. Not to mention how far you walk in a two hour session (over two miles on average!).

WTF. You are clueless here. Quit spewing your moronic guesses. Archer actually grabbed up some of the 'up' money and said he'd catch him later. You do know Oscar was born IN California right?Congrats btw. You just became 2026's newest member on my Ignore list. Your crap isn't worth fading.
You alight? You even read his message? Or just immediately lose your mind?

What's your favorite pool memory from 2025?

You could chide me all you want.. personally I think gambling is dumb and I’d just ignore you. Lol
That's what is wrong with pool.
To you Trob, that’s the interesting thing in life, it’s all about perspective. You think gambling is dumb, you’re entitled to your opinions.

I have an opinions too. I look at people who buy multiple cues, $400+ CF shafts, $20+ chalks, gloves, cases, garish plastic shirts to play in a league on bar boxes and call themselves “pool players”, and I think that’s dumb. I mean, I never heard of those playing miniature golf calling themselves golfers. Or those that go to go cart tracks calling themselves nascar or formula one drivers. Why? Because they’re not. You see it’s all about perspective.

And to you Tennessee Joe, you’re entitled to your opinion as well. What I’ve written above here regarding bar box players thinking they’re pool players, this is what’s wrong with pool. It’s why Americans are the laughingstock of the professional pool world, a nation that once turned out the finest players in the game and now are an afterthought, because of their affinity for bar boxes over pool tables. I know this isn’t a popular opinion here at AZB, the lair of the “league players”, yet it doesn’t make it any less true. Have a great day gentlemen.
