Kamui used to be great, I don't know what changed but they aren't anymore.
I think that there are better options out these and some are cheaper.

Few years ago I needed to replace a tip. I didn't have in stock what I was using and happy with, but found some Kamui tip in my inventory, so went with what I had.
Apparently I wasn't paying attention and glued a Hard Brown tip on. 1st reaction was simply WOW, don't like this, have to glue another on.
Being me, I was lazy and just put up with it.... long enough to start liking it... then really liking it.
Time passed and needed to replace that one, so bought a replacement. That tip was a disappointment as it was IMO a MED or maybe Med-Hard.
That experience pushed me away from Kamui and went somewhere else.
I'm sure this isn't an exact science producing tips with certain hardnesses. What I do expect (no accusations here) is before designating hardness, they need to be tested at the factory.
Right now I'm staring at a Red TAOM H in a zip lock.
Hate installing tips.
My main playing shaft has a Moori Quick. Cutting that tip by hand with a razor was a delight. Like Butter, but the tip is Hard.
