It's Been Six Weeks Now

Hey, you were on this
I think you should call and check up on it today, in fact you should do it this very minute, 6 weeks is long enough that they can show you some progress. I would call everyday thereafter too for status updates.
And hire a private investigator to make sure that it's even a real company, show up at DCC and get your own booth.

Dominant Eye before any aiming system

Yes, the vision center isn't always or even mostly under the dominant eye - but it often is. (P.S. "Often" doesn't mean "mostly", and "under the eye" doesn't mean "exactly under the pupil".)

Yes, if it's a choice then it's more important to have the cue in the vision center position than directly under the dominant eye. How does that affect the definition of "often"?

Because a couple of millimeters at the cueball can mean a 1/4" at the object ball which means you probably missed your shot and you don't understand why you missed it, you think you are doing everything right and you may be doing so, the problem is your cue is not traveling in the path you think it is and causing unwanted English

Dynaspheres Tungsten 572 Pool Ball Set

Regardless of all the hoopla, my Tungsten and Palladium sets have been played hard and long for over 2 years. Still look like they just came out of the box. I have Centennials and Tournaments. These Dynaspheres are both as good or better than tournaments and DEAFINITELY better that Centennials, just do not look as classic. The OB's are ALL about the same in wear across all these sets, I see the difference over time primarily in cue ball wear as it takes the most punishment. I know there is a lot of discussion about ArcosII balls as well, and I would put them as better than Centennials, as good as Tournaments although many here swear that is not true. I'm not scientific just play a couple hours every day and the is my real experience.

It's Been Six Weeks Now

Reported... No yanking on the doodle...... I'm worried about DCP.... hates the GC4...what in the wide wide world...

Hates the Gold Crown IV?

No, not really.

Once I get the Diamond Professional I will know if I hate the GCIV.

If my troubles persist on the Diamond then I will have to apologize to the GCIV.

If my play becomes better then I expect Brunswick to compensate me.

I wonder how long it would take for Brunswick to compensate me? Maybe I should start a new thread on this.

Dominant Eye before any aiming system

Are you saying it's never under the dominant eye, or just not "often"?

It could be but my first experience was to put the shaft directly under my dominant eye, my instructor said you draw the cue ball pretty well, he had me attempt to draw the cueball straight back from one side pocket into the other, every time I did the cue ball went to the right, he said your vision center was in the corner of my right eye near my nose, what shocked me the most was when I aimed this way it didn't look any different than when I was aiming directly under my dominant eye,not one bit different but as soon as I did I was able to draw the cueball straight back into the side pocket dead center, that little bit of change of head placement was monumental, I reasoned that if it made that much difference when I was shooting I should aim that way as well, it's taken about 9 months for this to seem "normal" for me but I can't believe how much better I am pocketing balls, so now I'm working on perfecting a proper stroke, I have a lot more to learn but having good fundamentals is the key to playing a great game.

Bob Flynn Denali Cues?

I think he still makes cues. Tried several of them a few months back made of all kinds of different wood combinations. Just unusual hardwoods for shafts like ebony, oak, purple heart, olive, bamboo. Experimental? Different feel and aesthetics than I normally look for. Was hard to get the position I was aiming for , but my cues are the opposite of what Bob builds for his followers so I can say I was just not skilled enough to adjust my play for his cures.
In 2014 he was 78, while not out of the possible I would be stunned if he was.

The two I have are solid cues with nice wood combinations, I've not hit them yet so I can't speak to feel and transmission but they seem nice.

BBC cues in the early 1900's had ebony noses spliced into the shafts. I have a Harvey Martin cue that one of the shafts is made from one of those BBC cues.

International Open 2025

Can't STAND watching one pocket on a livestream. NOBODY pays attention to what's going on. The announcers never know, the players don't even know, and the referee certainly is clueless, as to what is happening on the table.
Hall shoots 8 ball uptable, knocks both a stripe and the 8 into same pocket uptable, and the dumbass referee only spots the 8. NEITHER player noticed, the announcers didn't notice. Gomez shoots the spotted ball back uptable, then the dumbass ref sees the stripe in the ball return and goes to spot it, leaving Hall with a straight in bank. Somebody had to tell him that it doesn't spot until after Hall's inning. It's almost as bad as watching the NFL!
