Audience Sharking (Unintentional, but INSANE?)

I was there sitting behind them. She was checking the score of the table down from them. I'm sure it wasn't intentional just a lot of games being played at once and everyones trying to watch them all. Bad judgement. However, that guy sitting there alone was creeping on Kristina bad and he was like 8 beers in at this point. She had to go tell him, in a polite way, to STFU. LOL I'd say that dealing with him over a couple games probably played a bigger roll in the mental aspect than that lady getting up. The ref, at one point, had to come talk to that guy because he was waving at the camera during shooting. Thankfully the guy wasn't there for the final day.

VASILIOS Custom

This is a custom VASILIOS cue that was vintage but has been made new. The ferrule, joint and buttcap have been changed to an ivory like material that looks stunning and makes for a great hit. Brand new clear coat finish. Comes with a milk dud tip installed. Tip is 12.9mm The shaft is the original laminated shaft that has a nice stiff hit to it. It has a g10 custom joint pin. Joint size is .838. Everything is straight together and apart. The cue weighs 18.7 oz. I had an extension buttcap installed that fits a predator extension. This is a uniquely designed cue that plays great. Thanks for looking. Price $500 firm PayPal payment only in the United States.

$1.5M first place prize for Chinese tournament next week

Just saw this flyer posted by the Duya Legends Tour. It's a golden nine tournament (basically 9 ball on Chinese tables). The headline is the first place prize of ~$1.5M USD, which is about 8x what you'd get for winning the World 9-ball Championship.

A few things that stand out
  • A sponsor in the shape of a niche liquor company. It's not a particularly mainstream brand, so I'm surprised they were able to create such a big prize fund
  • No details on payout structure and what other places get edit: updated with a new poster that shows the structure
  • Top heavy payout of course, but still great by most standards. Runner up gets $220k, 8th place gets $22k, 128th place gets $1.5k
  • Super late notice for an international announcement - one week notice for a tournament with multi-million prize fund?

Wow, imagine the finals being Hill Hill. They would literally be playing a single game for over a Million Dollars, lol.

Who do you beg to reissue those?

This is way off topic, but speaking of reissuing a cue brand, there was this line of cues from Taiwan, and they were SW Style cues. Someone seemed to reissue that brand, after the cues were no longer made, for who knows how long, but when they were reissued, the only thing about them that was the same was the AXES Logo, but I read they were still made in Taiwan. Anyways, the new cues came with a Radial Pin and 3/8x10 joint options, instead of the SW Style (3/8x11) joint. This dealer who sold the new ones, in recent years, was from the Philippines.

Anyways, I assume that any cue could be reissued, if you offered to pre pay for a 1,000 Units, for example.
