Why Pool Leagues Should Embrace “ALL BALL FOULS”

My point is when most people compare "easy" to "hard" tables (the 1.0 foot wide raised walkway to the 1.5 foot wide raised walkway), they are just thinking of PLAYER and TABLE. But there is a triangle here, PLAYER, TABLE, and OPPONENT. And when the TABLE gets easier, the OPPONENT gets better.

Let's say you're playing poolscholar. Yes it is harder to run out on a 9-foot table. But if you miss, you have a decent chance of getting back to the table. Missing on the barbox against him is a sellout. Poolscholar effectively becomes a stronger opponent on an easier table, complicating calling the table "easier." That is the longer dropoff with the wider walkway.

Mistakes are more likely forgiven on harder equipment
A very succinct but highly apropos explanation that I happen to wholeheartedly agree with.

BCA pool league adjusting Fargo rating

Why would your top division start players less then 525+ ?
With a little research on our league coordinators part it wouldn't have happened. I personally would have put them between 540 & 585 from the start & kept an eye on how they fared.

There are quite a few people of less skill that participate in the this particular league division. It is / was a handicapped league, so some folks take the spot & give it a go.

Hey Cuetec, please make a Cynergy CF shaft in 12.25mm-12.3mm

Would really like to see Cuetec add a new shaft size to their Cynergy shaft line. A 12.20mm-12.30mm would be a great mid point between the current 12.5 and 11.8 offerings.

I have been using a Jacoby Black V4 12.3mm for a few months and really like it. I know Jacoby offers a V4 with the Cuetec 3/8x14 thread. Come on Cuetec, give it a go!!!
Does that .2mm really make a difference?
