The 9-Ball Break

Side rail break even with kitchen rule is way easier to control balls than Matchroom break box break.
Take a look how Finnish Pros break from rail. Cueball not very close to side rail. Hit is very thick cut break. Lot of outside english and one ball comes 3 rail. Casper Matikainen is very good on that break and he won men´s European Champs 2025. He is very strong player but he mastered side rail break so he basically have ball in hand position on 1-ball after break 70% of time. I got 3rd on that tournament(Edit :where video is from lol. Not Eurochamps). lost 2 times to Casper and race to 5 he ran 4 run outs in row 2 times...
Login to view embedded media Try copy that break what these 2 pros are using :)(hint for practice try get cueball same position after break than they get. Then you notice how freaking thick cutbreak they are using...)
You have to watch video on youtube site. 5:23:40 final start time..
5:23:40 :unsure: 5:23:39 seems to be the end of the video on YouTube.

If you right click on the video there is an option to "copy video URL at current time" which will take you right to the desired point in the video.

Why doesn't Aramith do a better job with proof of authenticity with their packaging?

This guy has an eBay Store...brick and morter, too: Nielsen's Billiards.
Thanks and yes, I've bought multiple cases and accessories from Nielsen's and will continue to do business with them as they are a great company.

I usually get Instroke cases from them (for me and older friends that don't internet) and their inventory has been quite low lately, but that is probably another discussion another time what is going on with Instroke.

I did get this response from an Amazon seller that has the Aramith red circle at the best Prime price:

We get ours straight from Aramith, but the reviews are correct, they do vary in color. Even aramith’s high end pool ball sets vary in color. I have asked Aramith about that in the past and they stated that it is just the nature of the phenolic resin.

I guess this is another reason to go with Dynaspheres if Aramith does have that noticeable color variation in their resin (if that bothers you). I definitely like more of a whitish cue ball (the Dynaspheres is great and very consistent) with the Aramith red circle being the standard for most leagues and tournaments.

Evan Lunda Buffalos 2026 One Pocket Champion

This was written by Evan and only Evan.

He said he could have kept going and written more as his emotions were coming out about everything.

Thank you for the clarification. There seemed to be some question and I didn't know myself.

lunda has one of the best temperaments in the game, it's no wonder he's good at poker too. emotions showed through in this event though, visibly frustrated at times

Alex is getting a little long in the tooth but perhaps an all-around, between the two, poker, a cue sport, and ?? would be fun.

Great Pool Aiming Tip from Baseball Book "Unhittable"

I could not remember where in the book Unhittable I read it but this is from a internet search.

Unhittable by Rob Friedman explains that keeping the head steady and focusing on a tiny target are essential for improving pitch accuracy and mechanics, according to expert coaches.

Maintaining a stable head enables consistent delivery, while narrowing the focus to a precise spot helps pitchers improve their command.

Evan Lunda Buffalos 2026 One Pocket Champion

I realize this was originally a facebook post that we got bounced to here thanks to Steve but I assume the original was from Evan with maybe a little pixie dust sprinkled on it. Whatever, this is the kind of follow-up we need to see when somebody wins a big event, not that I am adverse to "I got lucky!"

Seems like we are in a good time for pool. Events alone won't get us where we want to be. Neither will great players without a showcase. We may be lucking into a good showcase and great players at the same time.

Buffalo, his staff, Ray, all the people involved with putting this show together should be congratulated on a great job once again!

A congratulations and a note to Evan: The comparatively easy wins will be forgotten in fifty years. These tests in the fire will be remembered!
