Adding a few close-ups by request. The white sections — the diamonds, cones and points — are all Micarta (layered linen/canvas composite), so the faint darker lines you can see in them are just the grain of the material's layers showing through. Not plastic, not cracks, totally natural to Micarta. Forearm inlay close-up and the carbon shaft detail attached below. Still available — PM with any questions.

If it feels like a double hit is gonna happen with the cb+purple, then that complicates things, might be avoidable with side though. Again, would have to be there on the table to feel out whether a double hit would happen or not. From the image, to me it looks like you can avoid it, if you hit it thin enough like in my drawing.

My main issue with what Moritz did is that even if it gives a great safety some of the time, the % of sell-out is way too high. Not worth the risk at all. And this all leads me to wonder what he sees that I don't, because there's no way he would play that shot if there wasn't something that I don't see. Only other explanation I can think of is frustration/laziness, which I highly doubt for such a situation.

yes, and the db kiss is probably why he shot that way but the one pocket way is to load up with left to avoid it and go short-long-long with cb. ob can go in or end up on short rail, he'll have distance and possibly cover

Sold Sold Pending payment. McDermott D-13 with original and iPro (matching rings)shafts

For sale is McDermott D-13 with original (as far as I know) shaft and iPro shaft with matching rings. I sent cue into Mcdermott when I had the iPro shaft matched to the butt.
Specs:

Butt:
Length = approximately 29'
Weight = approximately 16.04oz
Pin = 3/8x10
Wrap = leather
Condition = very good for its age. (rolls straight/a few minor indentations/little flaking on end of butt cap[)

Original shaft : (far as I know it is the original shaft)
Length = approximately 29"
weight = approximately 3.6 oz
Tip diameter = approximately 12.3mm
Tip = unknown
Condition = pretty good (has taper roll but tip doesn't leave table rolled alone or attached to butt/don't see or feel any scratches or dings)

iPro shaft :
Length = approximately 30"
weight = approximately 3.9 oz
Tip diameter = approximately 12.75mm
Tip = what comes standard with shaft
Condition = Excellent (to be safe gong to say has very minor taper /don't see or feel any scratches or dings/almost new andvery little use)

The spot shot is better for a "serious event."

I like what Ultimate Pool is doing for the sport and the 6-ball shootout for speed fits the event structure, but would not fit any other type of event, in my opinion.
