Yes I think those are the reasons many players use carbon fiber, and they are good reasons. It's hard to get the feel of wood from a carbon fiber shaft, but I think you have to live with a bit of deflection to get the feel of wood. I can play with either, but it push came to shove, wood is nice for me for feel. I go back and forth a lot.I use carbon fiber because i hated certain charastics of wood. The stickiness that would happen, swelling and temperature shifts that would change the properties of the shaft. With carbon these things do not happen
When Efren first arrived in the USA he was new to 9 ball and didn't have a good break. He gave up the 8 And the breaks and still ran over all challengers. Well I heard Buddy Hall won a set.with ball in hand and no pushout on the break, it is a disadvantage to break for most players.
challenge me if you like, but you are wrong.
I might be mistaken but I think the table and balls are broadly the size of American pool with pockets the size of a snooker table.Sorry for being a lifelong pool guy and asking this question, but…can you tell me about the tables they play hey ball on? Size, ball size what’s different than a traditional American table. Thx
I hear you! I play in a league where there are two players notorious for extremely slow play. Unfortunately, one of those is on my team. When the two slow players meet head-to-head, it becomes unwatchable. Two minutes a shot? Seriously, I'd quit the game before waiting for that.
I played in the one in Denver, got in the money, shoulda been deeper but I wasn't aware you could chit a ball in another pocket you weren't aiming at and keep shooting, had em down by two games/lost on the hill.
Then....
When you got on the video table pit, the rules changed, 8 on the break was a win. When Matlock did that, boy was he surprised.
The Chinese are 'Training' 3C players through a UMB program!Maybe all 15 of them were cancelled.
