I can see how he would find it difficult to get his break to improve. I run into the same issue myself from time to time...

Fargo tells you pretty much all you need to know. Just watch all the games that Ameer Ali has been seen to have played and you'll see that it's more or less spot on. Fargo lacks a "current form" list but I guess we use the other rating lists for this and make a best guess.

Because Ronnie came to the table and was snookered on all reds, he had the option for a free ball.

He shot the green, which as a free ball is worth the value of the ball that would normally be on (red in this case).

Green (1 point) + Black (7 points) = 8 points to start.

Then the rest was scoring as usual.
