It's almost just like pool. Different weights, lengths, grip, and tips. You can drastically improve your play with the right dart and it affects the flight of your dart, more or less flutter. You also have people who throw hard and those who loft their darts into specific areas.Darts has even more equipment variations than pool

I'm pretty sure I've seen him post here on the forum. It's been a while, though.I’ve been a long time fan. The guy who runs the site is Jason Moss, one of the most dedicated pool people who loves the game.
Repost his site and tell your friends.
Not sure I'd agree with darts getting big because of Luke. MVG was doing insane things before Luke was playing.I watch whole 20 days every year, i get SKY every December for the mosconi, and keep it going over the month subscription, so i can watch it all. The best and most exciting game at the moment.
Luke LIttler reminds me of O'Sullivan. Just like snooker, darts has got this big, in recent years because of him.
Influencing all these kids, and academys springing up everywhere.
If only pool could be this exciting, the thing that really strikes me is every thing they do means something, the presentation of the sport, it never seems to get old. Where as with snooker, it can get kind of boring, with each event feels like the last one.
But anyway, this worlds was just as exciting, as when littler debut 3 years ago. Not many sports could have a world championships that is 3 weeks long!!
Thanks for the info, he and Buddy had such a beautiful stroke, and they got so much action from the cue ball with those buttery smooth strokes. He used Balabushka earlier in his career. By '98 he was most likely using a Richard Black. IIRC he may have also used a Mottey at one time also. He was using a Black from mid/late 80's onwards.
That's why I added at the end or just the 5's and 6'sIf you're beating most of the APA 7s (8 ball rating), then you're a shortstop, not just "good"
Anybody going to live stream the match?
