Tascarella or Scruggs

After giving this a great deal of thought I'd have to give each cue a try , the Tascarella in honor of my friend Frank McGowan because of his love for his partnership with Georgia B , then on the other hand I really enjoyed playing with my C18 McDermott cue one of the things I liked about it was the mother of pearl accents on it .
Yes I know they don't make a cue hit better and its all mental which I'm ok with . I'd have to win the lottery to be able to afford either one so they're just a dream of mine .

Decal cues are the best

Below are some eBay sales of Meucci originals. You can find more information on some of these still on the eBay site. For example, the cue sold on May 3rd is still on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3265628185...d=link&campid=5335988529&toolid=20001&mkevt=1

Filler Vs. Gorst

An all-around would be very hard to handicap. Josh has a clear edge at 9ball, 10 ball seems pretty even, and Fedor would have a slight edge at both banks and one-pocket. Let's hope this happens.

I'd consider it the first marathon match played between the world's two best players in the last 50 years. For the record, when Efren hooked up with Earl in the Race to 120 in the late 1990s, Jose Parica was quite a bit better than Efren at 9ball.
Earl & Sigel played a Challenge Match in 9-Ball, in 1985, Race to 45- Earl 45, Sigel 44. Does this qualify as the two best players matching up, in 9-Ball?

A simple answer to the APA/BCA Amateur League dilemma

A few years ago I was on a BCAPL team. The Wednesday night league had at least 200-220 players and we filled up a room with 2 9 foot tables and 14 8 foot tables. {{The 9 foot tables were cash games of 9-ball; while the 8 foot tables were league.}}

Of the 200 players, 3 or 4 were capable of giving a Fargo 650 a run.

So, no, a league for that level of players would crash and burn rather rapidly. Simply not enough players.
