Highest percentage way to shoot this with BIH, playing Back Pocket 9 Ball

Update:
I was at the pool room in Atlanta today, on a GC4 with I think 4.75" pockets, but they might have been 5". The table I was gambling on 2 weeks ago was a Diamond 9' with 4.25 or 4.125" (I forget) factory one-pocket pockets, in Philly.

I shot it 2 ways, 9 tries one way, 9 tries the second way. Repeat.

First way was the way I thought worked best. I actually measured it, and I had the CB 1 ball width behind the 9, with a very minor downward stroke, and a stop shot. Second way was mentioned in this thread, about 5-6" behind, shooting high on the CB with a rolling follow shot. CB follows a few inches. Both ways were about a diamond or two harder than pocket speed. (pocket speed in this context is hanging in the jaws if missed).

1 ball gap stop: 7/9
5” gap roll follow: 9/9
1 ball gap stop: 6/9
5” gap roll follow: 9/9
1 ball gap stop: 4/9
5” gap roll follow: 9/9

Total 1 ball gap stop: 17/27
Total 5” gap roll follow: 27/27

I learned something new. Thanks boys!

How do you find your opponent's weakness?

I think you’re all overthinking this. Always try to play the best shot possible. If your opponent is great jumper, didn’t you try to get the safe as close to an object ball as possible or play the best safe anyway? Your opponents bad at breaking? You going to lose so he can break? IMO, play the percentages and that’s all you can do.

Paying attention to and actually playing the percentages made a huge difference in my game.

What’s going on in Poland?

Travel from the US and accommodation is going to be about $2200, so you can break even placing 9-16 but you're not making money. Expenses for locals are going to be about half that. That means that $1000 travel costs from a sponsor would put an American on about the same financial footing as a European for this tournament. 96 players are entered.
A smart American player would secure a clinic at a nearby pool club and cover his expenses.
But to do that he would have to be known, not entering international events, will leave them unknown and broke…
There are always solutions.
But if the top 5 American players don’t think they have a chance to win, what would the rest think?

Quickest way to recognize what fraction the hit is?

How do the players here that use fractional aiming recognize what fraction the hit is? The basic ones, full, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4,1/8 I can usually see, but its the 3/8 , 5/8 , etc .. those are the ones that give me real trouble.
I don't understand your question. Do you have trouble figuring out which hit to go for, or do you have trouble seeing how to hit the correct fraction of the ball?

Highest percentage way to shoot this with BIH, playing Back Pocket 9 Ball

I would just shoot it in, but if you are really looking for a way, there is one. Place the cue ball as close to the nine as possible. Line up the shot, as in make sure it is perfect. Dart stroke with your jump stick, not trying to jump. Jump stick rebounds off cue ball, no double hit.
This technique will also get your opponent to raise the bet. ;)

If you do try this, Nick, be sure to practice first. I can see leaving the 9 about a diamond short of the pocket.
