Big names missing from DCC

Yeah, that might be it, but there are almost 500 entries listed without those who are "in but unpaid." Add them all together and we are looking at the biggest ever field in the 9ball event.

On the other hand, there is a rumor that DigitalPool is handling the scheduling, and maybe that will save things.

He was still one of ten best straight poolers at age 65, but it was at age 70 that his game started to fall off quite a bit. He tried playing in the 1986 PBT World 14.1 at age 72 in Philadelphia, but his game had eroded and I'm not sure he ever competed again.
At one point he started to lose track of things and even moved the cue ball in a match thinking it was just practice. A checkup revealed a circulation problem, and it was reportedly fixed. I'm not sure when that happened, but I'd guess sometime in the middle 1980s. I remember in the 1980 14.1 WC he seemed fine as I reffed his match against Richie Florence.
